Not Another Bailout But Please Consider Helping

Like many conservatives, I'm mostly against too many so-called government "help" programs. But also as with most conservatives, that doesn't mean I have a hard heart.

Things Must Be Bad In California

Arnold must have a bigger mess on his hands in California than I imagined. Why else would they have sold Los Angeles to the Asians?

Actually the trip has been cool - a bit hectic. Had an opportunity to actually drive in the infamous LA rush hour today. Would have gone without a hitch except for one overturned vehicle in the road in front of me.

I haven't had time to check up on the blogs - not even the news, much.

Kind of a nice break. Back in the saddle, soon, though. Returning tomorrow - late, I believe.

I was asked to participate in a program to raise money for specific educational programs - particular ones you can actually select to support.

Take a look at my page - a few dollars might help a school add books, or computers. I focused my selection around programs designed to get students involved with writing or media in some form.

Why Is A Russian Talking Revolution In America?

I see people are picking up on this topic via Confederate Yankee.

The other option, the one I have long prayed we would never need to even consider, is a total revolution. But, If Congress won't act in its own self-defense, in the defense of democracy, in defense of us - the people who have elected them to protect us from this very danger - then what is left for us to do? I don't want to see it come down to this, but I fear that it will.

I hope her Mother's still proud, even if she remains inaccurate and really very silly. Maybe she should consider emigrating back. They might actually need another revolution there and America can always spare a misguided liberal or two for a worthy cause.

I swear this should be my last post on my fake Sarah Palin quote post. Here's the latest - I'm getting unique visitor counts in the thousands every day searching me out because of these fake quotes, apparently there is some email that's gone out to "tens of millions" of Obama supporters that list the quotes as real and claim they were released from MSNBC (they weren't, they were pasted into a poli forum there) and now there's even a website by some guys who domain-registered the phrase I used in a fake quote where Sarah describes dinosaurs as "Lizards of Satan."  They nicely credited me as their source.
