A few nights ago, Governor Sarah Palin made some comments about the 2012 field.

I think Ross Douthat is a twit - just another buyer's remorse conservative.
But here's a fairly even handed piece, with a spot on knock on how Palin's best friends (Cubachis of the world) are her worst enemies:
http://douthat.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/05/11/the-tragedy-of-sarah-palin/
...Consider: If you were bounced from obscurity to national prominence and immediately found yourself attacked from every angle imaginable — the personal, the political, and everywhere in between — to whom would you instinctively turn to for advice and counsel? To the elite Republicans who seemed to disdain you from the beginning? To the McCain strategists who sent you out as an attack dog and then blamed you for their own missteps and misjudgments? To the establishment media mavens who never gave you a fair shake? Or would you turn instead to the various conservative commentators, activists, radio hosts and bloggers who made it their business to champion you as the second coming of Ronald Reagan, to defend you from every attack (fair and unfair alike), to spin your blunders as successes and your gaffes as wisdom, and to generally insist that you could do no wrong?

"One thing is for certain, Palin never shies away from competition."
Except when she quit the job the people of Alaska trusted her to do, of course.

I hope this dopey woman never goes away. As long as Sarah Palin is around we will have something to laugh at.

Damn. 3 worthless troll comments in a 6 comment thread. What is it about this place? Are they all Dan? And speaking of gaffes, Obama has the biggest gaffe in the past few years. I wonder when Austrians are going to take his suggestion and start to talk Austrian? And douhat is not a conservative. He's a pragmatic republican.

"pragmatic Republican"
Would this be the flaccid cowards too frightened and scared of offending the tyranny of their brain-dead Liberal 'betters'?

Hey Barfo
How do you feel about your 'nero-cult in the White House celebrating pop poets who praise cop-killers and assassins'?
Posted by: Susan | Friday, May 13, 2011 at 03:37 PM
And Barfo
Adding to my question: how do your feel about your 'nero-cult in the White House celebrating a pop poet who raps against INTERRACIAL relationships?'
So you think opposition to interracial relationship is racist?
Posted by: Susan | Friday, May 13, 2011 at 03:58 PM
That is exactly correct, Susan. See: David Brooks.
Remember, that a minority cannot, by some effed up pomo definition, be racist. Also, remember that barfo doesn't think. As his name implies, he vomits up retorts. Nothing more, nothing less.

Bet Palin knew Huckster was waiting on her, but can't take the continual jabbering and is jumping now.
Half the field will be eliminated by the time she makes her move.
Panetta on to Defence, Gates done, how long B4 Hill move's on?
