Update: Little Miss Atilla weighs in, as well.
Meanwhile, I'm ticketing Kill Truck for driving on the media strip. Heh! She left off the working title from POWIP - kinda turns me on for some reason! Dan Riehl, please kick my ass
end update
Via email - a blogger weighs in on the whole DC Bawler thing. Yes, it's an inside blogging story. But I see many bloggers who don't seem to grasp the significance of it.
The piece casts folks likes me in a terrible light and I find it as hideously unfair as it is nakedly self-serving. Tucker Carlson, as the “face man” of the Daily Caller, and reporter Jonathan Strong have done damage here and need to be called out for it.
When a so-called GOP operative claims fifty-percent of Right-blogs are on the take, it falsely discredits everyone and is total BS. Should we all start turning down every bit of campaign flack we're emailed every day? If this story were accurate, we should. To use it could make one appear to be bought. This was an especially pathetic piece of not really journalism from Carlson's rag. The CA story is a year old. This was not a news story, it was a slap at all bloggers, nothing else. I'd be surprised if even 1% have ever taken any dirty money. So much for the Caller's credibility. At least it will be gone as soon as Tucker burns through enough other people's money.

I have already seen people on Twitter calling out bloggers, demanding that we "fess up" and let readers know "who we are on the take" from.
It was an absolutely disgusting piece of non-journalism and the man who spent a month making money off of the JournoList scandal owes all of us honest bloggers an apology. http://reddogreport.com/2010/08/pinhead-tucker-carlson-owes-quite-a-few-apologies/

Shame on me. I "was" so enthusiastic when first hearing about the "launch" of The Caller. Dude, I mean, one small, additional dent, in the overwhelmingly, liberal (Dim propagandist) media's market share. Boy was I wrong. I got s clue over 6 mths ago, that The Caller, was Brooks lite, Frum on steroids, ie Left Center, RINO. With bowing, groveling, and subjagation, to our Leftist's rulers, as a feature, not a bug.

One step forward, three steps back for Tucker Carlson.
This is just such a dumb move.
