Rut Roh - a troubling three page letter from the Miller campaign citing multiple potential infractions of election law and procedure by a Murkowski observer, who, after mis-identifying himself, was allowed unfettered access to a computer he should not have accessed. The access presented a clear opportunity for vote tampering.
The other problems include trying to access the ballot area with a large bag, an action prohibited by law. Fortunately, security stopped him. Read it all in pdf below.

Tar and feathers for Murkowski.

This simply cannot be a redo of the Coleman clown-circus-fiasco. I pray that Miller's military background and more visibility and internet cash will enable him to drop a big sledgehammer on these whiny fraudsters.

A good guy involved in election procedures should have been aware of the issue of what they could and could not access. But he choose to do it anyway. Why was this allowed, and why didn't someone try and stop it?

The dirtier this story gets, the more we need to recognize that the national GOP may have some good people in it, but they are far from the good guys.
There should be dozens of Joe Miller/Sharron Angle/Rand Paul style candidates running for office and after we can prove this year that they can and will win overwhelmingly, and more importantly that the national GOP has to support them if they want OUR support, then in 2012 we can seal the deal and let America know that it's time to stand on your own two feet without government help.
States have to balance budgets. Why doesn't Washington? We will not survive as a country, not with $130 trillion in unfunded liabilities, unless we start making deep, deep cuts.
Gravy train is over folks. It's time for the adults to be in charge.

Presumably, there should be:
(a) access logs, and
(b) a reliable backup of the election results.
Hanky-panky should be blatantly obvious to even Eric Holder.
Oh no.

Van Flein is Palin's lawyer. I wonder when Miller hired him.
Seeing his name on this letter has to really get under Murky's skin.
Am I a complete bastard for smiling when I think of that fact?

Tf this letter is factual,Murkowski should lose by default and charges brought against her representatives. This smells of Acorn at its best.

"I would not be fast to say FRAUD . Also don't ready shoot aim , there are good guys on both sides ."
When you are dealing with something as important as the poll, you don't do anything that even hints at fraud. And frankly, anyone that does isn't a good guy.
Vote fraud is one of the few things separating the Rs and Ds. If we have Rs who are starting down that path, then there's no reason to keep either of them -- or the polls -- around.

From the sounds of it this Mike guy disobeyed the direct instructions given by the site manager, disobeyed a second demand that he not bring any bag into the area, accessed the computer (without anyone watching? That wasn't clear in the letter) then violated the rules by surreptitiously writing information down so that he could take it elsewhere (same with the blackberry or cellphone).
All of this should be cause for immediate removal of this individual from the counting rooms AND an immediate investigation and search of his person or personal effects (bags, pockets, cell phone) for evidence of any other info removed from the room and Murkowski should fire him. (fat and chance are the words that come to mind for this)
That they would even THINK of doing this is enough to taint her staff and thus herself as being suspect and not worthy of public trust. (one has to wonder; what's so valuable about being a Senator that anyone would commit crimes to that end? It can't be the salary or even that perks. That leaves only the the power to pick the winners of Government largesse or being let freed to violate some rule others have to obey.)
Crist and Murkowski are just the tip of the Iceberg and prove the point that they are not conservatives but just political hacks attempting to seize power and thus money for themselves and their cronies.

Maybe Miller should be talking with the Libertarians? From everything I have read about this guy (not much granted, but I did look at a few places) he is a much better fit than Murky anyway.
