Geezers, peezers - half the sighted people I know drive for shit. Eventually, we're going to let blind people on the road? What could go wrong? And if this extends to blind Asian broads, I'm taking public transportation - which might just be their real goal.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Could a blind person drive a car? Researchers are trying to make that far-flung notion a reality.
The National Federation of the Blind and Virginia Tech plan to demonstrate a prototype vehicle next year equipped with technology that helps a blind person drive a car independently.

We need an outcry from taxi drivers, asap.

I can see the bumber sticker "Sight Challenged Driver" as she whizzes through that red light with her bourka flapping in the wind. Was that too racist?

This should fit right in with the current gang in Washington. On the other hand...said Dr. Marc Maurer, president of the National Federation of the Blind. "We're moving away from the theory that blindness ends the capacity of human beings to make contributions to society."
Hmm...

Meanwhile, 1 in 150 American children have autism. Add these sped kids who are denied access to regular education material to the nearly 40% high school graduation dropout rate to the American work force, and the roads will be empty for blind drivers as everyone else will be using their free, government largess public transportation passes along with the illegals. Yippee! we're all gonna die.
