Dang. I know Stacy was still working the case. And information I was digging up, including with the help of Joseph Culligan of Web of Deception, went a long way toward impeaching Folk's alleged motive for pushing the Nikki Haley story. It also began to paint a picture of someone who got booted from the basement of the SC Governor's mansion over a domestic violence incident, only to take up residence in his Daddy's basement to, you know, do high-level political consulting, er ... blog.
That led Melissa Clouthier of Liberty Pundits to make a comparison to Wayne's World on a phone call we had discussing how the Will's World from his blog and what he was saying with regard to Nikki Haley didn't quite comport with reality. h/t to Melissa for that reference, which provided the inspiration for the short video below I was going to use to kick off some of the analysis.
Greg Hambrick of the Charleston City Paper calls it the worst season finale ever! Yes, it is, as now he seems to be implying he was offered money to shut his yapper. Could be. Or it could be he suddenly realized there were plenty of people, partcularly national bloggers, prepared to yap back in a manner that might be unflattering to Will Folks and his family, which he injected into the story by claiming that as his motivation for pushing the story.
Oh well, if the season finale isn't very good, I did at least enjoy making the promo for season two. No point in letting it go to waste.
