Andrew Sullivan wants to know if Elena Kagan is gay. Let's hope so. If she's straight and gave birth to a child, there's no telling how long Andy might go on trying to figure that one out!
So Is She Gay?
To put it another way: Is Obama actually going to use a Supreme Court nominee to advance the cause of the closet (as well as kill any court imposition of marriage equality)? And can we have a clear, factual statement as to the truth? In a free society in the 21st Century, it is not illegitimate to ask. And it is cowardly not to tell.
So Is She Gay? ... She does seem to smiling a lot.
I guess a glum SCOTUS Justice might write depressing opinions. but .. really, should this matter ?

Yeah, maybe it’s her business who she shags, but it fits the pattern of embittered, bad-childhood outsiders out for revenge against anybody they saw “suppressing” them and those like them in traditional America… i.e. church, corporate America, and military.
So you can count on her doing all she can to destroy the institutions that made this country great… because she detests them.

She seems more like an upper-west side limousine liberal, or perhaps a wine-and-cheese ingesting socialist...
...but I can't blame Andy "milky loads" Sullivan for wanting to know Ms. Kagan's gender and/or orientation. She does seem a bit mannish, and might have tripped up the Power Gluted One's gaydar.

An odd thing here. Almost as if Mr. Sullivan -believes- that the SCOTUS should be the governmental branch that legislates (creates law).
Sorry, that's just wrong (even if it has become more of a matter of fact - however unconstitutionally so).
The courts were not meant to be the legislative branch, that's left up to the 500-or so crooks we keep re-electing year after year.
