Interesting. Given DeMint's interest in conservatism in so many other states, I was wondering what, if anything, he does to keep the children in line in his own. I mean, really - SC is starting to look like a cesspool of GOP politics. I'm surprised DeMint hasn't endorsed. I was also surprised to see that he's only running 43/36 approval, though I wouldn't imagine he has any concerns in a one party state.
I liked Lee Atwater. But at this point, I might consider swapping SC for Puerto Rico, or Guam, and calling it a wash. In any event, DeMint's former state director was with Barrett in February, not sure if that's changed.
The fact is Gresham Barrett is a true conservative, and you can believe me… I know; I was Senator Jim DeMint’s State Director for the past 5 years.
Sincerely,

What's your problem? Barrett voted for TARP, so that disqualifies him? Look at the list of Republicans in the House and Senate who voted similarly, should they be blackballed, too?
Or have you just descended into Paulbot insanity?
In the immortal words of Groucho Marx, "I don't have to come here to be insulted! I can stay home and be insulted!"
Tip o' the hat, with appropriate finger extended.

Why yes, yes they should. Thank you for pointing that out.
Once again: this is a fight against incumbency, and against the systemic moral and personal corruption epidemic among those who stay in DC too long.

Welcome, dumbass. Maybe you should read my post from yesterday defending Barrett on TARP. Or is reading hard for you? Idiot.
