I made it to almost two minutes. There was a time, back when the Berlin wall fell and the USSR disintegrated, that I had thought the world might finally be safe from the leftist con job.
November cannot come too soon.

I couldn't get past several minutes either. Ronald Reagan speaks so eloquently while the community organizer and his wife sound like Bolshevik agent provocateurs. I pray we can extract ourselves from this mess.

Yes, I remember when America had a real president.

Does Obama not realize he sounds like a complete redneck -- actually, more like a bad actor mimicking a redneck -- when he tries to put on his preacher voice? ("We are fahv days uh-way from funda-menally transforming the Unahted States of Amurrica.") He doesn't have any of that gorgeous, mellifluous sound produced by REAL black preachers.
(Speaking as a native Tar Heel: Not that there's anything wrong with rednecks...)

Not bad, but I'd like to hear actual clips of say, the Reagan/Carter debates mixed in with Obama/McCain.

I remember Reagan well.
I hated him. I despised him as an old man who did not or could not understand the world.
His jingoism of the power of free people and the virtue of the United States was an anathema to me.
I was so, so wrong.

What Ag80 said. I was a lefty through all those years as well. Now I revere Reagan like no one else. I keep thinking back to 1 year ago when the Frums and Brookses and Powells were all saying conservatism was dead and the era of Reagan was over. Good thing we have "elites" to tell us what's what, isn't it?

Reagan was an actor. He did a good job as a puppet president.
That is the only thing I can say he did well, acting.
Both parties are corrupt.
Don't be fooled and pulled in by either parties marketing/PR campaigns.
We as Americans must be smarter than that.
Government today is a far cry from the Constitution and neither party cares about that.
Just follow the money and you will see it is all about greed and power.
We must all unite against this corruption by informing ourselves.
Not through media but by understanding of the Constitution.
Do not let this silliness of sound bites divide us as Americans any longer.
We need major Government reform and division is not the answer, that is how the corrupt continue to prevail.
