Assuming FDL is correct and it all comes down to the Stupak Block, why would those presumably Pro-Lifers believe these people are truly Pro-Health?
This bill stopped being about health a long time ago. It's about politics and it's about money and power and Obama. But it is NOT about health. If the Stupak block has any real integrity at all, they need to walk away from it.
Are they simply Democrats, or human beings who care about life and health? There are better solutions if it's the latter and they know it. And if they are simply radical progressives in sheep's clothing wrapped in swaddling cloth, we will know that, too. And we will not forget it.

Stupak is posturing. He should be voted out in November no matter which way he votes. If he only objects to this because of abortion funding, then he isn't getting the total picture of what the American people don't like about this abomination. We don't want our health care in the hands of bureaucrats.

Stupak is running for Governor, and any polling I have seen heretofore, have not had him doing all that well. Not sure how this whole thing of relying on an executive order to overturn an enrolled law ( he knows better but must think Michiganders are stupid or something ). Not sure if he intends to try to keep his UP seat, once his governor dreams crash and burn or not. I would think even in the UP, this nonsense does not play very well at all. A hard scrabble, self reliant group that is very middle class and not many minorities but for some Indian tribes.
