I'm watching and waiting.....and praying........and very much appreciating your coverage.

Let's see ... the Democrats put in "deem and pass" as a way around Stupak's objections that the Senate bill would simply be signed into law by Obama and then no revisions ever made to the Senate's abortion legislation. But fears of court challenges forced Pelosi & crew to drop the option, leaving the House to only vote directly on the Senate bill, and a non-binding version of "deem and pass", which now has as much authority as a Sense of the House resolution honoring some postal service worker in Podunk for 40 years of service.

There's even less of a reason for Stupak to trust the Senate will put the Hyde restrictions into the bill now than there was 24 hours ago, and this is the time he's going to trust Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi that the Senate -- in the run-up to an election that polls show is going to be a nightmare for the Democrats -- are going to want to push this battle into the late spring or even the summer? Bart must either think he has the most naive constituents in America in his district, or must believe he has some Oscar-worthy acting chops, to make his voters believe a few months from now that he never, ever suspected that Nancy, Harry and Barack would go back on their last-minute deal to cut the abortion funding language out of the bill.

So what Stupak is really saying is that he likes everything in this bill, all 2500+ pages of it, except for this one little item about federal funding of abortions. If he could just get this changed, then everything would be peachy, and he will happily vote for this thing. I guess he's more afraid of being "the guy who killed healthcare" than of the long term impact of this nightmare bill. What a putz.

They think this will be the nose of the camel in the tent. I think it will be the straw that broke the camel's back.

A Democrat is a Democrat...

I guess my first post on this must have been kicked out for profanity. The Donks and their cheap talk make me curse violently sometimes.

Bring it on home Stu!

Stupak is a frigging DRAMA QUEEN !!

He will vote yes .....at the drop of a "maybe" on abortion !!

A POX on all their house members !!

Bella PIGlosi makes me physically ill at just the sight of her ...much like the sight of our Muslim-In-Chief !!

Here's my suggestion to the Catholic Bishops if this healthcare idiocy actually passes: immediately excommunicate all Roman Catholic congressmen from the Church, starting with Pelosi.

"You cast your vote for abortion, a monstrous evil. Now we're going to cast you out of the Church until you repent."

Jimbo, thanks for demonstrating the racist and antireligious bigotry that is at the core of the Obama Party.

By the way, pussy, why did you run away from the last thread after people pointed out you were lying? Is it because you are a lying pussy who can't stand up for what he believes? Is that why pussies like you need the government to be your mommy and tell you how to think? Is that why you're a failure and a coward, Jimbo pussy?
