If ObamaCare is all about the people, why are they being so careful about which people are allowed inside the series of events at which Obama intends to speak on behalf of socialized medicine for America? And it is now fair to call it socialized medicine. Obama betrayed that by telling gathered Leftists that this should be seen as only the first step.
"He thinks this approach is the way it's going to get done," said Lee, who heads the Congressional Black Caucus. "He said this is the first step, a foundation that we can build upon. He made a commitment to work with us on all the issues that are outstanding, and there are many," including a desire by liberal Democrats for government-run health plans. That idea is opposed by moderate Democrats and nearly all Republicans.
Obama doesn't want the majority of Americans opposed to the bill to be heard. And he doesn't want any attention on what would undoubtedly be coming down the road if he can manage to get his foot in the door on behalf of single-payer health care for all, except for him and Congress, of course.
It begins today. Michelle Malkin has the dates, locations and times to the invite only events Obama intends to use as PR in an effort to get his destructive health care reform bill passed.
President Barack Obama will take his health insurance road show to the Delaware Valley Monday when he speaks at Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa. The event is free and open to the public but you must have a ticket to get in the door.
