Looks like Obama fancies himself as having a regular army there, what with all those Federal workers and promises of more to come. Good thing Bush never did this. They'd be calling for his arrest.
“No ifs, ands or buts about it -- if we do nothing to reform our broken health care system, costs will continue to skyrocket and break the budgets of American families, small businesses and the Federal Government,” read the March 12th email from DeParle.
But should federal employees be subjected to partisan propaganda? What precedent does it send for the White House to use the federal work force for their partisan agenda? And shouldn’t we let State Department federal workers concentrate on pressing issues like the Israeli-Palestinian issue or the Iranian nuclear weapons issue? Why would Department of Transportation employees have to worry about forwarding The White House’s partisan emails to their address books?

Dan, isn't this a violation of the Hatch Act?

That is the plan. One dependent class built on welfare, Medicare, SS, and universal healthcare. The second class is government workers which will one day soon morph into the NHS in Britain.
That covers enough of a voting bloc to guarantee the democrats will be in power forever.
Simple, elegant, lethal.

So...when are we gonna admit that The Constitution is no longer in effect?
Once we admit that fact, what are we gonna do about it?

All of this happened under Bush ... right (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

"isn't this a violation of the Hatch Act?"
laws don't mean much in a defacto dictatorship

"That covers enough of a voting bloc to guarantee the democrats will be in power forever."
Ummm, no. Equation: Second Amendment + 250 million firearms in private hands + rapidly increasing public distrust of Washington DC = Well, you get the picture, don't you?
Small observation: If IRS workers think they're hated now, they're really going to be despised if ObamaCare passes.
Grim jokes:
Question: The IRS plans to buy new vehicles for its new employees once ObamaCare passes. What will they be?
Answer: Up-armored Humvee's.
Question: What will be mandatory office equipment for IRS employees after passage of ObamaCare?
Answer: Helmets and flak jackets.

Do not automatically assume that more Federal workers means more votes for the Dems. That kind thinking seems to equate Federal employees with welfare recipients, which could not be further from the truth.

Obama using those who are supposed to serve the people in his efforts to dictate to the people. Once known, this can only hurt Obama. The prez appears to have a serious case of arrested development.
