Two delicious bits of campaign news for John Kasich. One includes Obama. The first:
The second begins with an item I posted yesterday pointing out the terrible state of affairs in Ohio Strickland most likely can't overcome. Unemployment continues to rise, even after Ohio has already been devastated in that regard.
Today’s state breakdown showed employment, which is calculated by a survey of businesses, increased in 31 states, led by California, Illinois and New York. Missouri and Ohio showed the biggest payroll decreases at the start of the year.
So, via a link to RedState, as more competitive politicians begin to avoid Obama like the political plague he's become, what will Ted Strickland do? He's headed to what, hopefully, will become more Tea Party than ObamaCare event with Barack. Misery loves company, I guess! If you're in the area, do try and show up. Make your voice be heard!
Calling all Tea Party activists: Make sure to make your voices heard in Cleveland, Ohio, on Monday when President Obama comes to town. They’re piggy-backing Democrat fundraisers onto the Demcare salvation road show — just as they did in St. Louis, Missouri. Will Dems flee from the Reverse Midas White House touch like they did yesterday?
At least one Democrat is taking the risk: Ohio Dem. Gov. Ted Strickland:
And why not? In Strickland's case, it isn't as though he still has a lot of friends.

Given the title, I thought that BHO was deliberately setting out to attend a Tea Party event.
I sort of knew that actual intellectual curiosity is beyond his character, however.
You big tease.

Kasich will win by double digits easily.

Almost all polls show Strickland ahead, but remember, Strickland was in Clinton's camp, so if he does not think Pres. Obama would help, he would not show up. No amount of speculation by anyone can match that fact. Plus knowing the teabaggers physical attributes, European, fat and out of shape, they better be careful going to Cleveland and trying to disrupt anything

"Plus knowing the teabaggers physical attributes, European, fat and out of shape, they better be careful going to Cleveland and trying to disrupt anything"
Why?

I think that buckjohnson is confused. Every Tea Party supporter that I've met is American. Not a European to be seen.

buckjohnson is a racist.

Bucky Johnson has SEIU thugs mixed up with Tea Partiers. Thugs are only there to "stir" the tea. Evidentially Bucky has an inferiority complex. He hasn't noticed the MANY non-European participants in the Parties. The Fat Europeans are SEIU.

They do? http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2010/governor/oh/ohio_governor_kasich_vs_strickland-1078.html#polls
It's not November any longer, Buck.

Dan, Re the RedState article (where I think Erickson hits the nail on the head): Strickland has slipped so far behind in the polls (now double digits), being seen with Obama can do no further harm. He just needs to cash Obama will bring in.
Posted by: LastRick | Friday, March 12, 2010 at 10:08 AM
Sorry to burst your bubble Dan, but the SEIU members in Cleveland outnumber potential Tea Partiers (anyone who isn't a card-carrying communist, socialist, green-partier, or a supporter of Dennis "The Menace" Kucinich) by about 3,000 : 1. They still worship THE ONE in Cleveburg. If no-one in Cuyahoga County had a job, they would still blame it on Bush.

This Obama rally will be shutting down the community rec center for the day. So much for working out on Monday.

Gunga, that may well be true, but the fat thugs are getting more and more demoralized, so most of them probably wouldn't show up. Besides, that old Dem pseudo-belief that *all* union members are good Marxists, er, Progressives, er ah, Liberals, ummh, well, that they will at least accept 50 bucks or so to show up and pretend to support Obama's BS is beginning to crumble.
And "Buck Johnson" [which one of the "Blazing Saddles' Johnsons is that?] is merely practicing the current Dem strategery usually called "whistling past the graveyard." Dems are still desperately trying to ignore/demonize Tea Partiers in the forlorn hope that it will all turn out to have been just a bad dream.

Bring on the Purple People Beaters!! We just had them stomping around DC last week-they were laughed at, out loud, which was awesome. A couple of them looked like they wanted to punch somebody, but they also know the "protection" they've bought and paid for in DC via their campaign contributions just can't deliver anymore. Chicago protection rackets aren't what they used to be I guess. Go Cleveland!! Make them squirm!!
