Actually, I am more a libertarian, not quite the die hard social con. But as so many libertarians and moderate Republicans have had their say about social cons over the years, you might want to consider that, they could be the only thing standing between you and Obama Care just now.
We may not all agree on things, but it's only when we're together that we ever prevail. And principles always matter the most in the end. It's increasingly difficult to find them beyond certain social and fiscal cons these days. To the extent they are demonized within the GOP, we all lose.

I've always found it amusing that the "big tent" Republicans are constantly trying to push the social con's out. Room for everyone under that tent but us...

Diogenes is on target with the 'big tent' comment. Most Americans are pro-life, polling indicates. Pushing out social conservatives is a losing strategy.

Stupak wants to compel me to purchase health insurance of his choice. That's tyrannical. I don't break bread with tyrants.
I'm glad he's standing up to Pelosi.

Hey, the GOP kicked these people out so it could be pure, white-as-snow conservative. So it's not surprising that they now give you the finger.

I don't want to exclude social cons. I'm tired of them holding the key to the gate though.

Dan,
Thank you for saying so.
Due to ultrasound technology, the younger adults are polling more pro-life than some of the older people.
Kicking out social conservatives would be the death knell of the GOP.

Well stated. We're all going to have to stick together for the coming election to get those rat bastard Democrats out of office in as many districts as possible. Our individual differences are small compared to the forced socialization of our economy by Obama and the Democrat oppressives.
