Geez, the dope is from NJ, figures. That's one of the reasons I left - too much mindless clutter in the state these days. I went looking for Chistopher's nonsense after Skye at Midnight Blue mentioned it, again.
Before any of you even start, please spare me the “satire” excuse. This isn’t about the logical merits of Riehle’s metaphor, although even by that standard, his post is a miserable failure. It is about gratuitous cruelty, in service to the almighty hitcount. His title entreaty veers dangerously close to incitement, as well. We’ll all cross our fingers that none of that hospital’s staff reads Riehle’s blog.
The idiot uses my name several times, each time getting it wrong. I never much bothered with the pantywaist, even when Ed at HA was giving him play, as Ed seems intent on doing with other half-liberal hacks in today's media non-elite.
It's not ego. Spelling someone's name correctly is Journalism 101. That this light-weight was able to carve out a modicum of allegedly professional space for himself out here is simply an example of how an exploding medium creates gaps. And as with most gaps, they collect more garbage, lint and detritus than they do talent in the end.
Who knows? Maybe he's just so busy stroking it to Rielle Hunter and wishing he was John Edwards, he couldn't get some imaginary final e in my name out of his silly little head. I wouldn't put anything past the putz.
No wonder AOL shined him on. His lack of professionalism, intelligence and talent probably forced their hand.

I still get a smilin' golly/gee whiz/holy cow/gee willikers feeling .... like looking through the eyepieces of a steereo (sic) microscope. At a colony of motile, teensy weency, itsy bitsy life forms. Whenever I happen to stumble upon the basso profundity: 'reich wingers' (in external comment thread re: your post in question/under discussion).
And can only look skyward .... and give thanks (there but for the grace of G*d ...).

I admit that when I link to you I have to remember "i before e except after c - but at least I do it. (What a horrible sentence - but you get the point)...
As someone who has their name mangled on a regular basis, I take great care to get other peoples names correct. Besides, in Biblical studies you find out how important names really are.
Ok - I deserve a reward for three horrible sentences...
