Momentum and Inevitability: Don't Be Fooled

Keep in mind that from the time the Democrats started the 72 hour clock, they have been working hard at creating an aura of momentum and inevitability around the passage of Obama Care. What they most want to do right now is undermine the spirit of the opposition to get you to begin backing off.

Don't buy into it. Those people are always more about spin than substance. Stay engaged and don't feed into what they want you to by getting this, or that headline linked and talked about in the blogosphere.

Also, see Dem Rescue, a Tea Party related effort. Make sure the Democrats who stand strong know they will still have friends if they continue to stand for freedom and the Constitution, as many of them have pledged.

Agreed - and this is an important message. Their strategy has been to project that they have already won, but every whip count I have seen shows they don't have the votes. This is by no means a done deal and, like Mike Pence, I like our chances.

Forget the Dem Rescue idea. All Democrats must be targeted. They've conspired to let as many vulnerable Dems vote "no" as possible. This is a collective effort, and there must be a collective responsibility. If this bill passes, no one with a "D" after their name should escape the peoples' wrath.

We are saying these things now about those with a "D" after their name but we need to hold those with an "R" and an "I" after their names responsible too. After this "D" crisis is over, we can never let ourselves become complacent again and we need to groom the next generations to do likewise because it seems that we don't learn from past mistakes that history has taught. It isn't just getting rid of the "D's" but also working hard for whoever we feel is the best person to represent us on the Hill. Just remember that the "D's" didn't get to where they are now without help from the other side.
