Geez, I was told he linked me the other day with the same garbage, but as he doesn't drive any traffic any more and his writing and reasoning are so flawed, I ignored the silly man. If not for spotting a stray referral from True Slant aka Bent, but mostly in a bad way, it seems Chuckie's trying to climb up on any platform he can in hopes of being heard. He's a "official" contributor doncha know. Whatsa matter, Chuckie, couldn't hold it together on your own?
Give him credit, though. At least when he fell, he fell all the way. His is the single-most significant Internet meltdown I think I've ever seen outside of the never major lunatics who only troll message boards. I linked but I'll save you the click.
Why I Left the Right, Exhibit R for Dan Riehl
Dim bulb wingnut blogger Dan Riehl is increasingly specializing in some of the most vile, ugly commentary on the right; it’s a crowded field, but with posts like this one he manages to stand out: Riehl World View: Isn’t It Time To Euthanize Reid’s Wife?
The excuse will be that it’s “satire,” of course, and I suppose you could argue that it is. Rotten, mean-spirited “satire” that lays bare Riehl’s shriveled soul. What a disgusting creep.
And of course, he’s getting a lot of “atta boy!” comments from the other basement-dwelling throwbacks at his site.
Anyone still wondering why I want nothing to do with the right wing blogosphere any more?
He's full of crap. The liberal Chuckie always was finally got over his irrational fear of brown people, aka Muslims in his case, hiding underneath his bed to go back to being what he always was - a liberal/progressive. What a weak, weak mind, now with an even weaker home blog. Poor lil' Chuckie, now just the lizard man, plucked out of obscurity from time to time for amusement, more than anything.
How sad.

How, exactly, does he link you and then claim "I want nothing to do with the right wing blogosphere any more"?

He's desperate, I assume. I wouldn't look for rationality in anything he does out here. He never was that rational to begin with. Aside from his commenters who actually did some work, or the Freepers he stole from, he was always basically a transcription service for the ME press.

You actually think you're being Swiftian when you suggest that Harry Reid euthanize his wife. How witty, pointed, and incisive. No, it's just indecent. And stupid.

Poor Chunk, he thought he was going to be the new Markos Moulitsas. Instead, he's the Arlen Specter of internet personalities.

Chuckles is a joke, just some geek sitting behind multiple monitors with some alarm that goes off when anybody types his name on the innerwebz. Junior high is so yesterday.

I am not sure he is the most significant internet meltdown, I think Andrew Sullivan could give him a run for his money.

Charles Who?
Posted by: Iben Hakenluggis | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 03:38 PM
Look at me, I'm so smart with the "Swift" reference! Everyone, please admire my more-intellectual-than-thou literary references. I'm so smart!
And, no Haeckel, it was not indecent or stupid, because by saying it Dan expertly illustrates the very indecency and inanity of bureaucrats and politicians claiming they need to take over our health care to save lives while at the same time they advocate killing the un-born to save money and giving counseling sessions to elderly people to consider offing themselves if they become too much a burden.
Dans post illuminated exactly what the government-run health care mentality is and the ugly incentives it fosters on government workers and civilians alike.
And the fact that there is so much foam from the far left over it when that attitude they condemn is in fact at the heart of the health care 'reform' they are so gung ho to see occur just proves how effective it was.

I read Little Green Footballs once about two years ago. Never went back.
And as far as the remarks about Harry Reid's wife, I hope she and her daughter make a full recovery. I hope that Reid doesn't.
And it is kind of interesting that some of the same liberals who went off their heads saying that they hoped Rush Limbaugh would die are so sanctimonious about saying how horrible it is Dan Riehl would comment about Reid's wife.

And Chuckie is nothing more than a bigoted, hateful, close-minded, fanatical athesst, Darwin worshipping, smear merchant.
He should stick to chasing the phantom Nazis that live in his brain and keep his mouth shut instead of constantly proving his idiocy and "I'm so tolerant, unless you're not an athiest" hypocrisy time and time again.
And I love when people say they left "the right" because they don't like what some people "on the right" said. Because, hah, like lefties NEVER, EVEEEEEEERRRRR, say anything offensive or mean. They just make inoffensive snide remarks about Negro accents and Obama selling watermelons.
Posted by: zf | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 03:54 PM
Forget Rush Limbaugh. I can at least understand why these vile cretins might want him dead, since he's been interfering with their plans for years. However, they also have called for Bristol Palin to abort her baby; cheered when (apolitical) Nancy Reagan broke her hip; called for black men in NYC to rape Sarah Palin; called for Sarah Palin to be pushed down a flight of stairs; attacked a little girl at a Kerry/Edwards rally because her father was protesting Edwards; beat up (5 on 1) a black midget who was selling conservative merchandise; drove a middle-aged woman off the road for having a Bush/Cheney sticker; and called for the rape of several well-known conservative women.
These are literally conscienceless demons.
Take your guns to the Tea Party rallies, and if one of these punks threatens you, splatter him.

Could Danny boy possibly be so dumb that he chooses to attack LFG's traffic, a measure by which he objectively and verifiably gets his ass kicked by Johnson? Why, of course he could.
"...he doesn't drive any traffic any more...Give him credit, though. At least when he fell, he fell all the way."
That much is true. According to quantcast, Charles Johnson fell all the way to... FIVE TIMES RIEHL'S AVERAGE TRAFFIC!
But Danny boy has a point. The comparison alone is fairly humiliating for Chuck.

"The Lizard Annex" Heh
More like the Lizard's Anus. (check out the number of 'hits' and comments. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. Must hurt to fall so far so fast and be looking up as a big butt blocks out the sun signaling another load of turds comiing your way.)
On his My Profile page he lists being the "Janitorial Engineer of the dreaded Little Green Footballs". (Dreaded. Yeah, that's what I want as an adjective for my website. Dreadful to read, dreadful to belong to. Yeah, it's really dreaded chuckie.)
Is that like the Dr. Jan Itor on Scrubs? You know the fairly smart(ass) guy who thinks he could do the Drs' jobs as well as they do but for some reason wound up cleaning up the gum and the dog poop on the floor? (mostly because he was educated beyond his mental capacity).
Keep scrubbing that toilet bowl you call a website Chuckie! Oh and by the way, there's some puke in aisle 3, could you go clean that up real quick?
BTW: keep f**king that chicken! It's doing you a lot of good!!

Scratch Charles Johnson and uncover the very fascist he claims to hate. I find it funny that he keeps on putting up those "Why I Left The Right" posts. Ummm, no Chuckles you didnt leave us, we all got up and walked out when you brought the Donkey onstage.

There are the people who get the joke, and why it was made, and there are idiots. That's all.
Posted by: Rich Fader | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 04:56 PM
Yes, Mr. Johnson, it is satire. To wit: Exhibit B: Sandra Bernhard imagining Sarah Palin raped by her black brothers in NYC; Exhibit M: a video in which folks exulted "I masturbated to Sarah Palin"; Exhibit G: Jill Greenberg's image assassination of John McCain ... I could go on and on ad nauseum. But then, I also do understand that irony, sarcasm and humor are only valid forms of rhetoric when fueled by liberal thought. Hey, what do I know! PS: I you want to truly cry a tear for meanness and hatefulness in America, go read Violet Socks post Stone Her.

"Could Danny boy possibly be so dumb that he chooses to attack LFG's traffic, a measure by which he objectively and verifiably gets his ass kicked by Johnson? Why, of course he could."
Are you serious? Chuckles Johnson is a hair away from Alexa not even tracking his site stats anymore. The guy removed site meter from his blog after claiming it was part of the right wing cabal or something. No, the paranoid idiot just didnt want anyone to see that his traffic had and continues to go down the toilet.

Not to distract from your fine catalogue of Lefty abuses, but you forgot to mention biting Tea Partiers' fingers off. Did they ever catch that guy?
Posted by: Dusty | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 05:02 PM
The Husky Deranged Blogger loves these little inter-blog wars since its the only thing that drives traffic to his site anymore. That and the slow motion train wreck thats been taking place there for over two years now.
All the lefty love and mad Amazon, Kindle and calendar cash from the liberals didnt materialize the way he hoped it would.

"Are you serious? Chuckles Johnson is a hair away from Alexa not even tracking his site stats anymore."
I explicitly mentioned quantcast because Alexa doesn't have an estimate of monthly visitations. The measures in Alexa (reach, rank, etc) depend a lot on the number of other sites linking to you, and Chuck, well... no doubt, since he broke relations with a lot of his former buddies, he got seriously screwed on that one.
But even in Alexa, Chuck has an edge over Dan. That's why the attack on traffic numbers is so absurd. To put it simply, who the hell is Riehl to criticize anybody's traffic ratings?,
Posted by: Nimed | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 05:33 PM
"Nimed- you one of the minions, one of the few left there to teabag Chucky?"
Uh, no, but thanks for the teabagging reference. Folks like you show exactly how hypocrite is the outrage of the tea party teabaggers.

Any data on how far lgf's traffic has fallen? And I'd agree Sullivan is possibly a bigger crack-up, but I thought his lunacy was still a big draw, traffic-wise.
Sullivan always was a liberal's conservative, so when he went hard-left it perhaps wasn't as alienating. Sullivan also has a bigger media profile, so there's more name and face-recognition.
Posted by: jim | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 06:03 PM
Sully at least has the excuse of AIDS-related dementia.
Posted by: SDN | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 06:25 PM
His main point that your post was despicable is true, no matter how hard you try to smear him.
Posted by: Helen | Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 06:48 PM
Sully also has the Obama excuse -- ie neither technically possesses a soul anymore. Sully's rotted away and Obama sold his back in college. Still, despite being soulless scum both can simulate humanity to a reasonable degree. They are like well-preserved zombies. Evil and soulless, yes, but their fetid, rotting stench is held in check enough to disguise their diseased inhumanity.
Zombie Michelle Obama, on the other hand, has already quite visibly decayed. Somebody should spackle that.

"There are the people who get the joke, and why it was made, and there are idiots. That's all."
I'm sure am glad I'm an "idiot".
If I thought Dan Riehl's viscous, ugly "satire" was funny, I'd be worried about what kind of sick human being I was. Dan Riehl is contemptible.

Dan? Viscous? Isn't that "Milky Loads" Sullivan?
Then there was that contemptible bit of speculation about the census taker.
Too bad, turned out true.

Dan, old Chuckie banned me back in his war on Christians a couple of years ago, simply because I asked him what the hell he was doing. I was just curious, and bam, banned.
As for your post, I thought it quite pertinent, and an excellent example of the duplicity and hypocrisy of the Democratic bastards in Congress and their health care plan. Of course, the mindless would need to read the other post before they could understand the one in question, but hell, when did a liberal ever do any homework? That these jerks who come here to criticize are more concerned about speech pointing out hypocrisy than about the murder of millions of babies says all I ever need to know about them. They are not worth talking to.
As an aside, it is really quite ironic that these morons come here to criticize you for making comments about Reid's wife, when in fact the health care nonsense they are now trying to pass is likely to cause just the scenario you discussed with respect to elderly people who are severely injured. Irony is wasted on these liberal jerks. Wasted.

"But even in Alexa, Chuck has an edge over Dan. That's why the attack on traffic numbers is so absurd. To put it simply, who the hell is Riehl to criticize anybody's traffic ratings?,"
Who the hell isn't he?
So if, say, Glenn Reynolds mocked Ponytail for his abysmal traffic, that would automatically be valid, since Instapundit blows LGF out of the water?
Oh wait you're the idiot who lied the entire way through his silly little health care tirade. Silly me for talking to you.

I've no idea what Chuckie's traffic is. All I said was, I was told he linked me and I know it threw no traffic at all. That's just a fact. Time was, a link from him was a terrific traffic generator - one of the best. That time is long gone, which was my only point. If the same fifty people talking to themselves all day is traffic, good for him.

Charlene now more like the iconic dog joke ... bout how Spot gives his master a mighty sorrowful look. After returning home from the vet (snip snip).
One day (a looong time a go), I knew sumtin wuzz up wit Chuckie (fook me ... ain' proud). Merely by particular link selection/non-selection. Was a moment for me, indeed a surprise. That one without any integrity, was a then champion. Alas, he still stands nekkid [though now nekkid ... and spankin it (his eyeballs even came by my place for a visit, the other day [I feel so spayshul]. Though if I'd known, I'd a vacuumed first ... sh*t, even put up a fresh post [snarf])].
Blah blah blah .... yada yada ... what were we talkin bout uh' ginn?

Dan, you talking about traffic, any blogger talking about traffic is hilarious. A midgets porn site will have more visits thatn LGF or this blog.
