I had told my oldest son, Josh, a while back after he predicted a total debacle for the health care bill that it didn’t matter.  Obama’s aims are much more nefarious than just a socialization of our health care system.  He knows that he doesn’t have the soul of the American people with this scheme, but that is America as it is currently constituted.

America could change with “immigration reform,” with more of the votes going democratic.  And despite the current political difficulties, Obama is going for broke, sooner rather than later.

Time for another march on DC only this time we need to go into the buildings. We also just need to walk right in, no waiting in lines as they check us and try and heard us like sheep. Just go right up to them and overwhelm the guards and take over the capital building. Then have some rather pointed discussions with the Congress people.

The problem with amnesty is that politicians on both sides want it. The Republicans wanted it to start with (didn't Reagan grant it in the 80s?!) for the cheap labor and to keep Social Security viable, and of course the Dems wanted the votes.

The 'pubs were extremely naive....."Living" Wages will ultimately eliminate "cheap" labor, and most people even after being granted amnesty will continue to work for cash under the table, eliminating any boost to the Social Security funds.

This whole issue is almost scarier to me than the health care debacle.

At this point, Graham seems to be taking up the mantle of McCain and like McCain, with the exception of military/war policy, he might as well be on the other side of the aisle. There is nothing more detrimental to our fight to save our country than for conservatives to be fooled into thinking Graham, McCain, Hatch, and others who found it a "privilege to work with Ted Kennedy" are really on the side of the conservative Republican cause.

Lately, with Graham and Hatch warning against the Tea Party movement and Graham saying we all must get on the AGW bandwagon or "risk losing the youth in our party", I feel like we have almost no one to count on as leaders of the Republican party. (It also makes me wonder if these beltway boys ever bother to read anything but standard issue MSM -- how could a Repubican seriously continue to believe in AGW as settled science at this point?).

I'm beginning to feel like Mike Pence, Paul Ryan, Jim DeMint, and Jason Chaffetz might be the only honest politicians in DC (or outside insofar as potential 2012 POTUS candidates are concerned).

The incorrect teaching of US history, especially immigration history, the constant, reinforced brainwashing that "we're a nation of immigrants" or "we're all immigrants" - both of which are either 100% false or partly false, have worked effectively as they make Americans afraid to discuss immigration policy in a rational, sensible fashion.

From an economic point of view, with a bad economy and high unemployment, why are we importing so many people? From a national/cultural point of view, why are we in such a hurry to literally replace Americans (meaning mostly white-Americans), with non-white, often non-Christian immigrants? This nation was nearly 90% white for most of it's history. Change that cultural fact, and you change the political direction of the nation as well, which of course, liberals know and are purposefully trying to achieve.

Non-white peoples generally need and favor more govt social programs, thus the love of big government is a root cause for the push to bring tens of millions of foreigners to American shores.

When Obama won the election, he was hadend a blueprint, marching orders. Those who financed his campaign, and promoted it behind the scene has 'decline' as masterplan for the USA. Obama is not making these decisions, it is those masters, who provided the marching orders.

I for one, am sick and tired of these illegal aliens snubbing their nose at our immigration laws and the many other laws of this Country. If our Federal Government can not ENFORCE our immigration laws, and get these illegal aliens out of this Country, then let the States do it! One way or another, an end has to come to this illegal immigration, and not with AMNESTY! Amnesty will only encourage more illegal aliens to invade our Country and reward those who broke our laws and raped the American taxpayer in many ways...depressing our wages, taking our jobs, overwhelming our schools with their illegal alien children, driving without a license or car insurance, all the crime from stolen identities to rape, drugs and everything else.

I'm from Delaware, and we are pressing to get the Oklahoma State Illegal Immigration Law, HB 1804. passed here in Delaware. Three years ago we had about 32,000 illegal aliens here. Today we have about 68,000 illegal aliens here. We have had it! We want our State back!

Up until 1965 immigration to the U.S was mainly from Europe.
Then the immigration policy changed to reduce immigration from europe and increase it
from third world countries.
These people bring illiteracy and poverty to the U.S.
The europeans developed science and mathmatic and brought that to the U.S.
Europeans started the industrial revolution and brought that to the U.S.
Bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trains, helicopters, jet airliners, steam engines, gas engines, diesel engines, jet engines, sewing machines, vacuum tubes, transistors, magntron tubes, telegraph, telephones, radio communications, television, light bulbs,
electric motors, computers, xray, radar, air conditioning, refrigeration,
most anything you can thank of was invented by europeans or european americans.
The science and math used to calculate how to land a spacecraft on the moon came
from europe. Most of the physicist that worked on the manhattan project were
european educated. Most all scientific units of measure such as volts, ohms, amps, hertz, curies, angstroms and scientific constants came from europeans.
This is what made the U.S an industrially and scientifically advanced country.
The nation of immigrants from all over the world is a lie invented by people
who want to destroy this country with third world immigration.
California once ranked #1 for education in the U.S. Thanks to third world

Edward, you make good points but you generalize a bit too much, as to the "glories" of European peoples. What made the USA great and a power industrially, commercially and militarily was our system of limited government, which allowed people (native born Americans and immigrant/naturalized Americans) to be creative, to take chances to succeed or sometimes to fail, without government "central planners" over-seeing every aspect of life - which is Obama's goal.

You are precisely correct, the 1965 Immigration Act (pushed by Teddy "the swimmer" Kennedy), was designed to reduce immigration of European immigrants and increase Asian, Latino, African immigration. The 1965 Act could have been modified, espcially in the last 10-20 years in a smart, prudent way, by simply limiting the so called "family unification" provisions of immigration law/rules. Put simply, we could improve immigration greatly but restricting the number of relatives each immigrant can "sponsor" to come over here. This is where the numbers grow exponentially and quite fast. There's even still time to avoid disaster if we:

1) Reduce legal immigration (reduce the number of visas State Dept. gives out).
2) Reduce illegal immigration (border crossers) - mostly a Mexican-Latino problem.
3) Restrict/reduce family relatives allowed to be sponsored.
4) Actually enforce immigration law, which means deport those who violate the law.

Just doing these simple things could go a long way to avoiding demographic/economic disaster of turning the USA into a 3rd world, bi-lingual dumping ground.

Reagan granted amnesty to what was called about 1.5 million illegals. In reality, about 3-4 million eventually were granted amnesty.

If the govt, including Ol' Big Ears, aka, The Genius in Chief admits to "12 million" illegals, how many do you think will really be granted amnesty,including those who will jump across the border, when our Moooslim in Chief announces his "no lib/dem voter left behind act" into law?

The commenters are exactly right. We are committing national/cultural suicide by letting these non-white peoples immigrate into the U.S. They have no loyalty to our nation/culture. They refuse to assimilate. They take and take and take in the form of welfare. They harbor resentment against our culture and some are actively hostile against it. Next to the coloreds, they commit the greatest number of crimes. You can be as PC as you choose to be, but the reality is that we can not survive as a nation if our majority white culture is subjugated by colored peoples.
