House Democrats appear to be softening their pledge to allow the public 72 hours to review the health care reform package online before a House vote. “We will certainly give as much notice as possible, but I’m not going to say that 72 hours is going to be the litmus test,” said Majority Leader Steny Hoyer on Friday.

--Nancy Pelosi's dementia
--The Senate parliamentarian's decisions

--Eric Massa's self-inflicted wounds
--Rahm Emanuel's control of the White House

And even the GOP is piling on:
--John Boehner's statement that the GOP will run on repealing Obamacare
--Orrin Hatch's vow to make reconciliation impossible
--Judd Gregg's vow to do the same
--Eric Cantor's warnings to the Dems about November

ALL OF THAT IS A DISTRACTION. There is only one thing that matters right now, and that's the fact that Pelosi DOES NOT HAVE THE VOTES IN THE HOUSE.

ALL of our efforts going forward right now have to be focused on making sure the vote FAILS. Otherwise, the Senate version of Obamacare WILL BECOME LAW and AMERICA WILL BE DESTROYED.

It really is that simple. Flood the phone lines. Jam the e-mail servers. Tuseday's protest in DC must be when we make it clear to those who would destroy our country that this will NOT BE TOLERATED.
