Cut the Left no slack, primordial, or otherwise. The Left is fond of saying that religion has killed more people than any single other thing in the world. That's only true to the extent statism is the new religion of the Left.
Yes, it has its sub-cults, or cultures: Global Warming - or cooling in alternate decades, save the tress, snails, whales, or any other tasty, or usable entity they can employ to halt the march of capitalism.
But statism is the Left's religion, and Obama only its latest false prophet, wannabe messiah. And statism has killed more people than any other single thing in this world. From war, oppression, death camps, starvation, abortion, to assisted suicide and euthanasia, now they want to start killing Americans here at home, too.
So, cut them no slack, expose them and their vile man made religion for what it is every chance one gets.

Whoa! Sitemeter on fire!
Thanks, Dan.

Thank you, Joan. Been a long time out here, hasn't it? : ) Good to see you dropping by to comment earlier.

We need to really put the heat to the Obama administration. Now is the time to really go Gault as much as possible. We need to make it clear to the people on the left that we will not help them in anyway.
When we conservatives get back in power we need to regain control of the education system by purging it of lefties. We need to drive them out of our nation.
Only then will we be able to undo the damage these traitorous scum bags like Proud Liberal and others have done to our nation, our children, and ourselves.

So.. because you declare statism to be the left's religion without offering any, y'know evidence to back up such a vast generalization that means that religion hasn't been an endless bloodbath for pretty much all of human history? You're quite right in that statism isn't much good, the Nazi and Communists proved that beyond any doubt but no one is actually calling for it on the left in America.
No, HCR isn't statism and if it is it's a species that every Western capitalistic nation uses to their benefit without becoming the New Soviet Union.

belief and faith...
two things which I admire about the religious, but also two sentiments which the govt has lost, from it's own people.
just looking at the numbers-
belief in a higher power sits around 90%.
approval of congress is below 20%.
can't see how the libs could ever hope to divorce our society from religion.

Agreed. What government schools provide as education is astonishing these days. Much of the problems of our country may be traced to the establishment of the Department of Education.

"...because you declare statism to be the left's religion without offering any, y'know evidence to back up such a vast generalization that means that religion hasn't been an endless bloodbath for pretty much all of human history?"
who is to say that man didn't abuse the structure of religion?
in many ways, religion tilled the soil for statism to grow. while one may disagree with the misapplications of religion, there is something to be said for the fact that it has existed since the beginning of man, while govt as we know it, has been around less than 300 years.
looking over the cases of genocide of the past century, I have a hard time finding religion's fingerprints. libs love talking about the crusades, and since religion has been around for so long, there are a plethora of examples of genocide, committed in the name of god. the only problem is that the most recent cases of genocide(stalin, pol pot, darfur, rwanda) were perpetrated in the absense of religion.
this isn't a fair comparison though...
religion will evolve, and remain eternal, as it has over the past 3000+ years.
a govt which deprives individuals of liberty, and handicaps it's future generations, for statist glory and instant gratification is doomed.
I chuckle when I think about gore's obsession with what the climate will be like in 100 years. He spent his life in govt, and yet his ability to interpret numbers remains limited to ANYTHING but govt. How can one be alarmed by a hockey stick graph relating to temperature, but not express any concern over a far sharper debt graph, based on history, rather than predictions?
the presumption that there will be a govt left to address global warming in 100 years is hysterical.
the ponzi schemes of govt provide that with system we know now, we will expire within my lifetime. I don't have to wait 100 years.

The Crusades were not especially bloody by the standards of the time. It was standard procedure in the Middle Ages to slaughter captives (they didn't have the resources to set up POW camps) and to loot (since in the absence of a modern economy, soldiers depended on booty for their pay). The Crusaders were simply fighting by the rules of their day; religion had nothing to do with most of their atrocities.

Not to mention the Left being conspiciously silent when "peaceful" Muslims slaughter innocent women and children (500 of them) as just happened in Nigeria.
And the Prez who made Darfur his cause way back when until he found out it is actually Muslims killing poor blacks over there in Sudan. Then it does not matter anymore. It is probably America's fault all this is happening.
Let us be honest here, it is Christianity they are against.

Liberalism ... in five words:
Kill whitey. Take his money.

Yes Dan, they have their own religion. And they are imposing it on the world as we speak. Global warming, abortion (population control), Marxism, etc.
Why do you think Mugabe is still in power after everything he did? He is because he is abiding strictly to the leftist religion. I think they are even secretly applauding him. What he and his kind are doing in Africa for population control is any leftist's dream. Starve 'em to death...
Everything they accuse us of doing, they are actually guilty of. There is none as intolerant as the religious liberal left.

Statism is the default setting for both major political parties in America, today. Look up the definitions of statism. From property taxes to nationalized education to income taxes to social security and welfare to marriage licenses and much more, they are all forms of statism.
People on Social Security don't want to give up any benefits, but neither do welfare recipients. People who are pro-gay marriage want to share in the benefits offered by the laws of the state, but traditional marriage advocates don't want to share those benefits with others. Military retirees want specialized benefits from the state, while denying those same benefits to those who didn't serve thirty years or twenty years. Some people advocate for more religion in government - including religious based laws limiting the freedoms of others - while other people advocate laws placing restrictions on religion anywhere, in some cases, not even in your own home or place of worship. These are all subversive forms of legal bills of attainder, not of habeas corpus, the principle upon which our Constitution is based.
You pay licenses, permits and fees to the state for almost everything you do. Everything you do is taxed, including, believe it or not, the very act of breathing. Both Republicans and Democrats approve of these limitations on freedom by the state either in full or in part.
The left disapproves of certain lifestyles and when in power use the government to limit the rights and freedoms of other Americans. When in power, the right does the exact same thing. We now have so many laws that we enjoy the highest incarceration rate in the world. ...but somehow we think we are free and we think we aren't a nation ruled by the precepts of statism.
We live in a statist social and political system. ...and we appear to love to have it that way. We appear to love to live without freedom, while convincing ourselves that we are the freest and best nation on earth.
The only difference between right and left in America today is which flavor of statism you prefer.
Make no mistake, we are living in an oligarchic tyranny, and have been doing so for at least sixty years.
The next step on the Tytler Cycle is freedom, not tyranny.
The problem is that the state, as you know it, will come to an end.
