There's a low-cost Tea Party activism training session coming up in Virginia. It's also available online. More info here, I see Dana Loesch, among many other names you might recognize, are involved. See video below.
Like many, I love the notion of Term Limits. But getting them passed would be a huge challenge requiring a Constitutional Amendment. And all that would ultimately accomplish is the formalizing of an abdication of voter responsibility by decree.
ACORN, MOVEON, and others get liberal leaning voters involved in the process. To the extent the Tea Party movement can best that, we might not have to worry about Term Limits any more. An engaged, informed middle-American electorate is what's most needed right now. And the Tea Party movement is likely the best option for bringing that about.

Term limits by other means. It works for me.

Term limits don't do as much to curb government corruption as hoped. Here in CA the Dems have installed a methodical procedure for rotating their 'elect', you should excuse the term, from one Sacramento office to another....

I believe you are right and that the Tea Party movement should stay foucused on some core principles of less debt, less government and more economic freedom. Details can only be used against the movement. Sell ice cream not a particular flavor.
Turn the Obama "Hope and Change" around on him with simple slogans that resonate with the public. Our generalities beat their generalities by a mile.

Very true. We have to hammer on the most important issues that involve saving the republic from socialism and bankruptcy. winning the basics means a shot at the rest in due time.

Right you are Richard McEnroe at 11:39. And there's yet another problem with term limits: how many of those Dems in Congress today would have voted for ObamaCare if they were term-limited & on their way out anyway? A lame duck who's not beholden to the electorate & not subject to their wrath could be much more dangerous & potentially do some real damage if they were so inclined, it seems to me. I think I'd much rather voters continue to be allowed to retain their power to enact their own "surprise" term limits on their representatives themselves in the voting booth.
