Via Lefty blog Sadly, No on Obama's banker bonuses remark.
Bring on President Moose Eater!
This is something I’d expect Bush to say. And yes, I mean that as the worst possible insult. Hey Obama: THE TAX PAYERS DIDN’T SPEND HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO BAIL OUT ALEX RODRIGUEZ. This is an important distinction that bears repeating. If by “free market” you mean “they wrecked the economy, we bailed them out and now they’re back to doing the same old shit.”
Man, f*ck it. I’m now officially on the Palin 2012 bandwagon. Because if this country’s going to crash, I want it to crash hard and fast so we can just start over.
So, um, tell me - who are the rubes, again? Or, are they simply intellectually disabled? ha! ha!

Cops arrest American diplomat JDJ Zeitlin for his alleged involvement in fraud case. Zeitlin was nominated for inclusion in US President Barack Obama’s cabinet. He was forced to withdraw his claim after criminal cases lodged in India against him came to be known.

look out your window.
"THE TAX PAYERS DIDN’T SPEND HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO BAIL OUT ALEX RODRIGUEZ."

not surprised john snow missed the looming disaster.

Since whoever owns Rodriguez' contract writes off his salary as a business expense on their taxes, aren't we actually also paying for a signifcant part of his salary in reduced taxes for some corporation?

No taxpayer bailout for Rodrigues? Who pumps millions of dollars into stadiums and other "infrastructure improvements" in all of these cities to support these teams? Apparently "LEFTY BLOG" hasn't been paying much attention lately.

don ??? don't you mean "evil" corporation ... gee I wonder if Arods team did or does any business with one of those "evil" TARP banks ?
The left just doesn't get the whole capitalists system thingy ... they live in it, they work in it, they benefit from it and yet they manage to miss the fundamentals so completely that you have to wonder just how willfully ignorant they are about pretty much everything. They go to the same DMV and WalMart as me and can't manage to grasp why one is cheap and efficient and the other is bloated and has poor service.

We do subsidize stadiums - Yankee Stadium included according to wikipedia.

also don ... that whole tax write off for corporation logic only works is you assume a baseline of all corporate revenues being paid as taxes and any reduction of that "tax" revenue has to be paid by us tax payers ... I would point out that if you have a mortgage then "taxpayers" are paying for your house by that same logic ... :)

in truth, libs miss "w" waaay more than fiscal conservatives. (the most pleasure I derived from his presidency was actually watching how insane he made the left.)
they have been running against bush for 8 years, now going on 10...
without bush, the libs have nobody to blame, but themselves.

Did you know the New York Yankees haven't won a World Series under a Republican president for the past 52 years? But they've won nine under Democratic presidents since then. Maybe Obama really was elected president to bail out Alex Rodriguez.

"Hey Obama: THE TAX PAYERS DIDN’T SPEND HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO BAIL OUT ALEX RODRIGUEZ."
Pfft. They didn't *really* pay to bail out on favorite whipping boys Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase, either. Both have already repaid their TARP funds, and in fact Morgan Stanley was the first to do so. Chase took TARP funds only because the government pressured them to, and paid them back in June of last year, including $800 million in interest.

Wow, lefties now have brain farts based on the crony capitalism that Obama has practiced since he came into office. But those billion dollar windmill projects giving the Chinese 80% of the money and employment don't bother these people at all.
Drug companies, investment companies, unions, teachers and the whole raft of left-wing groups own this president, yet these people claim to be surprised. Jesus, liberals must be the slowest people on Earth. And the least well read, because we told you right here what would happen if Obama was elected.

Whenever a liberal attempts any sort of situational analysis, I'm always reminded of Ronald Reagan's assessment of liberals: "The problem with our liberal friends isn't that they're ignorant; it's that they know so much that isn't so."

Actually I believe the taxpayers of NYC ponied up a substantial amout for 'infrastructure' at GayRods place of employment.
