I wonder, if we heard a statement from within Obama's administration like the one my headline suggests, how long would such an individual last? And how many riots would the world have to endure before the outrage passed?
(CNSNews.com) – Harry Knox, who serves on President Barack Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, is standing by a statement he made last March that Pope Benedict XVI is “hurting people in the name of Jesus.”

When I first heard about this, I thought that Knox sounded like some of the Baptists I knew back in the 1980s, but then I saw the video, and Knox sounded more like an obnoxious atheist.

Nothing like an Evangelical Athiest. If you believe in God you will be berated and brow beaten by a holier then thou jerk until you convert to his point of view or be ostracized. And they say Atheism isn't a religion.

Is he related to Henry Knox, our nation's first Secretary of Defense, and/or William Franklin Knox, FDR's SECNAV, both involved in publishing?
I have but google and it isn't giving an answer.
Knox is a Scots name of variable notoriety. This Knox is a member of the race of yakshas/yakshis. Remarkable, given the degradation of the churches, that he wasn't ordained.
