Depends on which Business Insider source you believe, I guess.
Update: The governor's office completely denies any plans to resign, and says "the Times story" will not run tomorrow.
Original post: This past week, a rumor emerged that the New York Times is working on a huge bombshell with plans to "Spitzerize" New York governor David Paterson.
We've now heard from a single source familiar with the goings on at the Governor's office that the story will likely drop on Monday, and that the governor's resignation will follow.

"blindsiding the governor"?

From all accounts, nearly blind or not, he's as big a slut as his predecessor. NY, NY!

I bet the reason they're not doing it tomorrow is that everything is being put on until Tuesday because of the snow.

Considering how Gov. Patterson came into office, I would think that he'd practice some common sense. If he wants to cheat on his wife, he should wait until after he leaves office and based on the polls that I've seen, he won't be waiting very long.I can only hope that you are a republican -- there is not one thing even the slightest bit funny about your comment. The jokes about the man's disability are beneath all of you folks.

Whatever Paterson does should surprise no one. He has already admitted to awarding some women that he slept with a job. He should have been thrown out when that information surfaced. As for his open relationship with his wife - no one forces these people to marry. All these people with their affairs have one thing in common - they are all liars. They are allowing people to access certain areas of their workplace & who knows how much information they are now privy to that they shouldn't be.

My guess it's a rumor being fanned by the Andrew Cuomo faction. He is itching to be the Gov., but will not run against an African-American. He backed out from running against Carl McCall, and he would prefer that Paterson simply not run or to resign to open up his path to the Governorship.
