Some more details on Rick Snyder via Politico. Evidently, he's running as an outsider, though not a poor one. He's leading in fundraising right now. YouTube video below.
Voters across Michigan will be getting a dose of politics with their Super Bowl, and here's a first glimpse at Rick Snyder's ad for which he's bought pricey airspace during the game.
Snyder, a tech executive and investor who's largely funding his own campaign for the Republican nomination, is running as an outsider and a man of substance in a crowded field, rolling a series of wonky white papers on subjects like an end to the business tax, government efficiency, health care, and education.
The ad seeks to add a narrative to Snyder's wonky profile, noting that he started reading Fortune at the age of eight, and that "his ten-point plan to reinvent Michigan is so detailed that, well, it’s likely no politician could even understand it."

I never could abide political ads, but this one floats my boat. Don't know nothin' bout the issues, but wicked fun.

I agree with Miss Willis. That was a great ad and very effective. I want to see what this guy's all about.
