Update: Someone from PA emailed to say that Jennifer Daugherty's step-father has posted to his Facebook page that the 17 year-old involved will be tried as an adult.
Good Lord. Can they just shoot these sick bastards now and get it over with? More on what I found via the web here. My God.
Stepfather Bobby Murphy, 62, of Mount Pleasant, told The Associated Press that the victim had the mental abilities of a 12 to 14-year-old.
They fed her vegetable oil, spices, detergent, urine and medications, then forced her to write a suicide note, before they stabbed her to death, wrapped her in plastic, put her in a garbage can and dumped her in a school parking lot, police and relatives said Friday.
The head of the 30-year-old had been shaved, and she had been bound with Christmas decorations and clothing; she also was hit with a towel rack, vacuum cleaner hose and a crutch, according to an affidavit.
Six people were charged with criminal homicide, kidnapping and related charges in the death of Daugherty, who was missing since Monday and whose body was found Thursday at Greensburg Salem Middle School, about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh.
Charged were Robert Loren Masters Jr., 36, Ricky Smyrnes, 23, Melvin Knight, 20, Amber Meidinger, 20, all of Greensburg; a 17-year-old girl from Greensburg; and Peggy Darlene Miller, 27, of Mount Pleasant Township. All were being held without bond in the Westmoreland County prison. It was not clear whether they had attorneys.

The shaved head thing makes me think a female's jealousy was an instigating force. Went back and looked at your earlier post... "Amber" seems ready to believe swiping of her men is a crime planned by most other females.

From his self-description: "I'm the kindness man around." Also seems to have problems with persons knocking him off his "career ladder" , was recently "living on the streets".

Damn, and I thought I needed to build a safe room because of my proximity to Mt. Oliver and Brookline in the 'burg's South Hills. Looks like Pennsyltucki is as fubared as Polskavania

I'm not a fan of the death penalty, but I'm really struggling to find a reason not to agree with you Dan.

Fifty years of tolerating Democrats in our country has led to this.

you left off the last part of the article. It was not clear whether they had attorneys " but eminently clear that there was no conscience among them."

I'm sorry but how did "tolerating Democrats in our country" for 50 years cause the death of this poor woman? [That's lamer than 'heavy metal made me kill.']...and everybody thought Barry Goldwater was nuts, the tea-drinking far-right of today has become totally disassociative.

It was not clear whether they had attorneys
"but volunteer executioners have lined up around the block"

ROB CYPHER HERE. THIS SORT OF CRIME WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED IN WILKINSBURG

The question that must be asked, even if it cannot be answered, is "How can we prevent this from happening in the future?"
Its all fine and good to take the culprits to the gallows, but what about all the other people in the world who are just like them? What should be done about THEM so that crimes like this do not occur again?
Odds are these fuckers all have extensive criminal records. This is not the first time they've done terrible things. Sex criminals are forced to register with the police. How about we extend that to violent criminals of all varieties?

"How about we extend that to violent criminals of all varieties?" Then we can register those with misdemeanors. Ooooh, and then those dirty jews.

""How can we prevent this from happening in the future?""
By segregating crimminals from society. Commit a crime, you can no longer live in society.
We will have to set up crimminal areas, every crimminal wears a GPS device, no go into law abiding areas.
Re-admission into society will involve good behavior, and a psychiatric evaluation, and tracking for a long time.

Or execute them a lot faster. Execution itself is supposed to be a deterrent, but the prospective criminals have to see that it will happen to them, and that it's actually going to shorten their lives.

When you think you won't hear anything worse surprise something comes along. My heart goes out to the family and "real" friends of this young lady. I think that the sub-humans that did deserve the same treatment. Unfortanetly in this day and age they will probably end up on death row with free medical care.better food that most Americans can buy and the protection of humon rights groups. However they not human and deserve the rights the gave that young girl.

Preventing this from happening again starts early in life. When I heard that the ring leader Ricky Smyrnes was never consequenced at The Wesley School for his beating up autistic children, instead he was given candy bars. If there was no deterrent at that school, then why should there be as an adult? How so sad!

The system failed and another casualty has taken place. This criminal will not get away with it, but how many more Jennifer's will die due to this type of neglegance?
