And do not collect 200 dollars, either, I guess.
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik should go directly to jail when he's sentenced next week.
Kerik pleaded guilty in November to eight felonies, including lying to the White House and filing false tax returns. He has been free, awaiting sentence, since Nov. 10.
He is expecting to get 27 to 33 months behind bars.

False tax returns?? Well HELL, at least he FILED THEM. What is the deal with tax charges...isn't the white house full of tax cheats and failures to file?? double standard much??

I'm sorry to hear this. It would not have happened had he not sought a federal position. He could have quietly moved on, but his ego got the best of him I guess.

Can't lie to the White House- he knew better than that, and exhibited poor judgement in thinking he'd get away with it and hide his past dealings...
It's wrong to do that- and thus the consequences
