It isn't unrealistic for NYC to expect to be reimbursed for any terror trials help in NYC. But that this issue is still going on tells us Obama has no real strategy at all. He's just flailing around as usual.
NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he's skeptical that the federal government would cover the cost of trying Sept. 11 suspects in Manhattan.
The mayor said Monday that he wants assurance from the Obama administration that it will help pay for the added security and other infrastructure the city would have to provide.
City officials have estimated the cost at $200 million a year, but have not detailed the specific costs that make up that figure.
