When Siraj, who is said to rival Mullah Omar for Taliban leadership, isn’t sending his toughest soldiers to roam the bazaars in search of the little blue pills he uses to fuel a thirst for young boys that would have made Michael Jackson blush, he is busy making sure the closet door remains firmly shut on one of the Taliban’s most damning skeletons, the Haqqani pornography ring.
Pretty sick. But then what would one expect from people immersed in beliefs antithetical to all common decency and the rights of human beings? Across a great swath of the globe there are people persecuting Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, and any one else who happens not to agree with them. They are also the same people who persecute, torture and enslave women and children and murder cold-bloodily anyone who will not submit to them and their distorted version of the Creator.
At some point, this struggle that has been going on between the West and the Middle East will come to an end. Let us hope we are the victors.
