Coakley's people talking about GOTV and a campaign's many parts leaves me wondering how much she's counting on the Dem corruptocracy, including the SEIU and ACORN, to win. As for you, the Democrats think you're stupid and lazy. They're betting that you won't turn out. And I'm talking about Independents, not conservatives, with that. See for yourself. They already think they own you, but they're worried in Massachusetts, very worried, indeed. Keep the heat on and support Scott Brown any way you can. Just pick up the phone if you can't swing a donation. It would help.
The poll that suggested Ms. Coakley’s lead was narrowing, which was conducted by Rasmussen Reports and does not meet the polling standards of The New York Times because it relied on automated telephone calls, suggested Mr. Brown had strikingly strong support among independent voters. But most of them are unlikely to come out for a special election at an odd time of year, Ms. Marsh said.
“The only people who come out in an election like this,” Ms. Marsh said, “are the diehards.”
“A campaign is composed of many parts,” she told reporters. “I think Jan. 19 will show the results of how busy we’ve been.”

if there are enough pissed off die hards, Ms. Marsh is going to be SOL....

Pagar: Just what I was thinking. PLUS, the "newspaper of record" completely misses the flurry of blog and Twitter activity going on here behind enemy lines in Taxachusetts. Scott Brown Fever catching on? Must be fomented by "conservative commentators OUTSIDE Massachusetts," right? Idiots! : )

The Boston Globe ran a profile of Coakley in today’s edition.
True to form, the paper made no mention of the Father Geoghan case.
To remind you: in 1995 Coakley, then head of the Middlesex child abuse unit, looked into reports on three grade-school brothers who told investigators that Geoghan had inappropriately touched them during numerous visits to their Waltham home, and had made lewd telephone calls to them.
Rather than prosecute, or take ANY action to ensure that the pedophile priest could not repeat his crimes, Coakley agreed to grant Geoghan a year of probation in a closed-door proceeding that received no media attention at all.
Because of the deal, Geoghan faced no formal charges and no criminal record.
Because of Martha Coakley, Father Geoghan had SEVEN MORE YEARS TO SEXUALLY MOLEST CHILDREN before he was finally prosecuted.
Great job, Martha!
Imagine what she would do to the country as a Senator. Here’s a hint: it’s what Geoghan was doing to the children.

Coakley refused to press charges against infamous predator Priest. This ought to send a message about how much she is interested in protecting our childre,
Brown- Coakley Mass Senate Race could get closer with this slow leaking story getting out into the media. This no less from the Daily Kos– Surprising this isn’t hitting the charts by now. story posted started back in Nov. Tax and Spend is the least of it– Protect our children!
Mass. Senate race: Coakley made deal with Father Geoghan in 1995
A previous Boston Globe story reported that Coakley declined to press charges against the notorious pedophile Father John Geoghan, despite allegations that he fondled three underage boys.
Over a 30-year career in six parishes, Geoghan was accused of sexual abuse involving more than 130 children. Charges were brought in Cambridge concerning accusations of a molestation that took place in 1991. Geoghan was defrocked in 1998.

Here's the problem; No matter what happens, in order for a Republican to win this race they need to have enough numbers to overcome the deeply entrenched liberals that hold the various positions within the voting system who perpetually commit voter fraud and keep the left in power. One only needs to look at the Al Franken farce to see how they operate. They not only entrench themselves in the school systems, they entrench themselves within the various local electoral chairs and offices. Even if Republicans have enough votes to win some liberal poll worker will suddenly find a box of uncounted ballots that were somehow overlooked.

so...
rassmussen has been around for a while, but there is a very concerted effort to downplay his polls, now?
this overture is not even closely directed at shifting 'public' opinion, so much as it is an effort to keep the moderate dems from exploding at the wh.
on a side note:
the nyt questions the accuracy of the rassmussen polls based on data collection procedure. the same paper who is loathe to cover climategate, largely because it addresses the same concerns of data over global warming, which they accepted without ANY consideration of east anglia's methodology?

Montgomery Reyna hits the nail on the head with the comment about voter fraud. That is what we need to be getting ready for. What are we as conservatives doing to get ready for it? What are the Tea Party people doing to get ready for it? How far are we ready to go if the fraud is so out in the open like it was with Franken? Are we ready to go out in the street and raise hell? Are we ready to go to the homes of the Lefty Judges who try and force a rigged election down our throats?
Those are the questions we need to be asking ourselves. Once we know the answers we then need to let those on the left know what will happen if they cheat.
