From the UAW in the auto bailout, to federal contracts, too many other items to list and now health care reform, Obama is probably the single largest contributor to corrupt union funding than anyone else in history. And he's doing it all with the money of hard working, decent Americans. And he doesn't care. If you aren't working under a Big Labor contract, Obama doesn't care about you at all, except when it comes time to reach into your pocket.
He isn't an American manufactured president, but he is union made.
The labor unions have been fighting the Senate health care bill for some time now--specifically, the provision that levies high taxes on "Cadillac" plans that exceed certain maximums. That was expected to be a sticking point in the negotiations between the Senate and the House, but as Samuel Johnson once said, "the prospect of being hanged focuses the mind wonderfully." With the potential loss of their 60 vote majority lurking ahead, they can't dawdle on the details; it's time to haul in their lente and festina like hell.
And so it looks like they may have reached a deal sooner than otherwise expected: unions get a special two-year exclusion from the tax.

He's f*&king things up better than I ever expected anyone could.

There is always the Amish option. The reduction in electricity use will also help Global Warming. The economy, not so much.

My money says this company's business will skyrocket if ObamaCare passes:

One small question: it's interesting that a company catering to the needs of folks who generally don't use electricity have...a website. Hmmm. Maybe the Amish have invented computers using "Amish electricity" (compressed air)?

"And so it looks like they may have reached a deal sooner than otherwise expected: unions get a special two-year exclusion from the tax."
That's a break from the tax? Well for 2 years it is. After those 2-5 years, the Unions (membership) will revolt.
"The Senate's original tax was to raise $149 billion over 10 years. Cutting $60 billion from that figure would require negotiators to find revenue elsewhere. Neither union leaders nor the White House offered any specifics on replacement taxes under consideration."
One wonders how/where the short fall will be made up?
On a somewhat related note, this was the first indication that I found about how utterly for sale Obama has always been

Oddly, the MSM didn't bother to pick this one up in between bouts of fainting over the new messiah.
