Former Nebraska Senator Bob Kerrey has been in NYC too long. Either that, or he was always a fairly pathetic human being when it comes to politics. Sad.
“If he’s running against 60 votes and wins, that is not good,” said Bob Kerrey, a former Democratic senator from Nebraska. “It says that in Massachusetts, they are willing to elect a guy who doesn’t believe in evolution just to keep the Democrats from having 60 votes.”

The disastrous gaffes keep piling up. It's going to be a Brown landslide.

they are willing to do deny the lunacy the 60 votes would thrust upon them.
we live in a democracy. brown winning is the finest example of citizens rights to have govt represent them. brown isn't the problem. democrats are the problem.

I think the public finally realizes that they made a mistake in '08 and now know that our gov. doesn't work with a veto proof majority of either party. We have lost the checks and balances that we take for granted. Just look at the justice dept. What a politicised mess. HSA is a joke and the CIA is naked. Why would a decent man like B Kerry say such a stupid thing? Evolution? How about recessive genetic pool with Obama as the life guard.

"Inherit the Wind" was a play (1955), and a movie four times (1960, 1965, 1988, 1999). The Dems still can't let go of the fact they lost the 1925 Scopes "Monkey" Trial. Never mind that Tennessee repealed the Butler Act in 1967, and the Supreme Court ruled against Arkansas in 1968 that such bans contravene the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment because their primary purpose is religious. (I guess Mass. isn't Catholic much anymore.)
Besides, the New York Post cartoonist already had the police shoot the face eating monkey, "They'll have to find someone else to write the next stimulus [health care] bill."
When will yelling "Raaaaaaaaacist," in a crowded room stop Americans from running for cover like yelling "Fire", but hold and challenge the little boy who cried wolf?
