Dems Hammer Middle Class With Tax Table Manipulation?

Hmmm. I suspect this is going to make news if it pans out as Big Government suggests. It wouldn't be just the military in that case. The entire middle class will experience an increase that amounts to an interest free loan to the government.

Recently, retired military have received e-mail messages notifying them of a withholding tax increase. The email states:

NO ANNUAL COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT (COLA) WILL BE ADDED TO MILITARY RETIRED PAY IN 2010.

DUE TO RECENT LEGISLATION YOUR FEDERAL WITHHOLDING TAX HAS CHANGED.

After much investigating and several discussions with the IRS, it appears the Democrats have played a “cash-flow trick” on working Americans and are taking more out of American’s paychecks across the board–all the while touting the Making Work Pay tax credit.

I thought they'd reduced withholding for 2009? Now, they're increasing it for 2010 and going forward? All without changing the actual tax rates? Kinda weird if you ask me.

I just got my Military Retirment Account Statement. Sure enough my federal withholding tax has been increased! What the hell!! Obama said there would be no increase in tax for the middle class!!! Another F'ing lie!!

California's already upped witholding by 10%. No guarantee we'll see anything but a "credit" come April either. Time for everyone to up you exemptions on your W4!
