If you check the wire story, you'll find this blurb below buried at the bottom after a report on an Obama family trip to an an aquarium and the beach. As Politico demonstrates with an image, it was at least large enough to make headlines had it been Republicans protesting Bush during his time in office. Obama can't keep his numbers up with the media still playing cheerleader. Is he that bad? Does the media simply not have much influence any longer? Or both? Discuss.
When their motorcade returned to the vacation home in Kailua, they were greeted by a group of protesters calling themselves "disaffected Democrats." They waved signs saying "we love you" and "support the public option."

It's the disintermediation, stupid! ; ) Tea Party types are work'g around the old-boy political & media networks via the internet.
And yes, he IS that bad.

He's soooo bad that Napolitano would describe him as "working perfectly". But his ideology is a perfect match with the media and thus any and all faults will be ignored. There is only one reportable sin in our media - disagreement with the left - and that merits coals of fire, distortions and outright lies.

I remember hearing from BBC that Cindy Sheehan was protesting when O was presented with his nobel. Didn't hear from US media however. In fact MSM never (truly) reported about protests to O.

My MENSA smart buddy said last year, "Brother, don't worry. Democrats can't rule. They will self-destruct. They have too many competing agendas." I disagreed saying yes, maybe they will self-destruct, but in the meantime they will do a good deal of damage. Why walk down that path at all?
