Hint: it's not Climate science, it's a charade.
In its [the IPCC's] most recent report, it stated that observed reductions in mountain ice in the Andes, Alps and Africa was being caused by global warming, citing two papers as the source of the information.
However, it can be revealed that one of the sources quoted was a feature article published in a popular magazine for climbers which was based on anecdotal evidence from mountaineers about the changes they were witnessing on the mountainsides around them.
The other was a dissertation written by a geography student, studying for the equivalent of a master’s degree, at the University of Berne in Switzerland that quoted interviews with mountain guides in the Alps.

While I'm willing to concede some warming, and though I'm a hate filled greedy Republican with no regard for environmental issues, I do accept that we all should be better stewards of nature. But it's beyond clear now that the whole AGW meme has been just another attempt in the 100 year trek by "progressives" to lock in rule of the elites over everything and everyone, which otherwise can't be achieved by open dialogue, thoughtful deliberation, and honest debate.
So Al, where you is man? Is there "no prevailing legal authority" requiring you to comment on the fraud and scandal surrounding your "settled science"?

I am no longer willing to concede any warming. The most recently revelations are that higher elevation ( read colder readings ) monitoring stations were removed from the database but the earlier readings from the same stations were left in the base used to give us the delta upward. That sound like a sound comparison to you A.?
We clearly had two cooling episodes in the 20th century, the most recent being starting in 1998. Yet CO2 kept rising. If its so linked to warming, why didnt the CO2 drop?
This is all a well orchestrated kabuki dance by one worlders and World Cant Wait types. I no longer even grant them anything other than contempt. That is what the charade deserves.

Concede only in the context of the planet having it's own schedule for temperature variation.
UN - Corrupt
Algore - Liar
Media - Obtuse
Obama - Dangerous
I can only hope that we are now seeing the perfect storm scenario for all of these rats on the progressive socialist statist ship.

The MSM (including FOX) is committing a Media-malpractice here. European print media is doing a very good job in exposing them.

At first I thought that the whole AGW thing was just a bunch of politicians trying to get taxes out of thin air, but as time went on it became clear that it was even bigger than that.
The part of the plot that confused me was the giving of money to the developing nations. At first, I thought this was the customary "liberal guilt" thing at play, but it was uglier.
This was all part of setting the "status quo" for the next few decades, by paying off developing nations for not developing, thus insuring the dominant positions of the current players. Meanwhile, the control over industrial production would do the same at the more parichoal level.
The main problem, China (and to a lesser degree India) already had all the power they needed and an industrial plan to dominate everybody in the works.

Lets see we start here with "reduced ice in the Andes"; that sounds like global warming. What them am I to make of a recent Los Angeles Times story that says high altitude Incas in Peru are being frozen out by reduced temperatures? Their way of life is disappearing because it's too durned cold. But wait--the LA Times reporter points out that the cooling is caused by melting of glaciers. Doesn't say where, or how far away.
All a bit confusing for my head; will have to have Al Gore and the UN explain how melting of glaciers in some undisclosed location is causing the coldest weather in two or three centuries in certain parts of the Andes. I bet they can explain it! They'll have to be good explainers who can make people believe that fertilizer tastes like vanilla ice cream.

"..who can make people believe that fertilizer tastes like vanilla ice cream."
Mike, we have an explainer-in-chief who is up to the task!
