You don't get to hear that said about a politician every day, especially right now. heh! Another book signing and another huge crowd came out to meet Sarah Palin.
Michelle Malkin was there and has a report. This below is from the first link above.
“We love her, and she’s one of us,” said Fela Hopkinson of Colorado Springs whose quest for Palin’s signature started before dawn.
Palin was popular in the Republican stronghold of Colorado Springs during the 2008 campaign. The Republican ticket of Arizona Sen. John McCain and Palin drew 160,000 votes in El Paso County, easily topping the 109,000 for Obama.

FYI: I called Salt Lake City police this evening because of a death threat on Twitter directed toward Sarah Palin. They'll be watching out for her, but we all need to be praying for her. They've thrown eggs at her......and then tomatoes, and now a death threat. Please be praying for Sarah. Thanks.

Lisa Graas,
What the left needs to understand is that is anything happens to Sarah the strom of anger and violence it will cause will make the watts riots of the 60's look like a summer picnic. And believe me we will not be stupid enough to burn down OUR homes.

Very true, unseen.

Oh God – you got to be kidding? The left, and most Americans for that matter, understand Sarah to be a blithering idiot with the intelligence only slightly greater than GWB ( which, BTW, puts her above a tire iron but below a house plant ). This is just what the Right needs, one more conspiracy theory.
Also, what is this drumbeat of fear that you patriots are going to take to the streets? If the Tea Parties are any example of organization / logistics, you better say on your couches.

Southern Values,
still thinking Palin is stupid after all the interviews, her book, op-eds, her book tour etc speaks more about YOUR intelligence than hers.
I find it funny that the left are so blind that they will believe whatever their "betters' tell them (like the slaves that thought their masters cared about them) even when the overwhelming evidence suggest otherwise be it Global warming, Sarah Palin, "healthcare", those are not the "death panels" you think you see or anything that requires thought and logic to understand.
The left seems to feel the need to have a superman lead them because they are too stupid to care for themselves. they are also too stupid to understand that supermen do not exist. Yet they fall for the media made "hero" everytime be it tiger woods, or Obama.
I'm glad I am not of a party that thinks I need someone to run my life or tell others how to run theirs.

To answer your first question – absolutely. The very interviews, her book, op-eds, her book tour etc you reference drive home the point that she’s a political opportunist with no substance. Why waste the tomatoes?
The next couple of paragraphs come across as the usual wing-nut gobbledygook. Vague platitudes and concepts that support your paranoid world-view. For an individual not partial to group thought, it’s pretty amazing you share so many opinions with Beck & Limbaugh.

Southern Values
LOL. If you can listen to what she said and still think she is an idiot, then there really is little hope for you.
So massive government is bad under bush but good under Obama is your thinking I take it. amazing. I wonder if your little mind can warap itself around the thinking of what happens if say another bush gets elected and then that person has control over healthcare and all this massive government. you think Obama is going to be elected for life or the dems? what happens to your push for massive government when your enemies get the levers of power. Oh that's right in your little world your enemies will never be elected again.
finally. the belief in liberty and freedom vs big government or government by your "betters" is a belief as old as time, Rush and Beck did not invent it. So in your mind if someone stands up for say the consitution they are just dittoheads. And I have no probelm being on the side of those that believe in individual freedom over the state, hard work over a handout, rationing by money instead of rationing by government. Since our country was founded on these principle even the "uneducated hicks", as you probably call them, in 1700's understood that big government was a way to servitude and slavery to the state.

Thousands of people sleeping outside in below freezing, and in some cases below zero temps just to get a few seconds with Gov. Palin, who else commands such loyalty? Does anyone think that anyone would risk life and limb to see 0bama? I doubt it. Palin's book is still #1 in all books at Amazon, Borders, Walmart and Target, and the #1 non-fiction book at Barnes and Noble, Books a Million, and Hastings.
It is also the #1 book most sent as a gift from Amazon, and #3 on the wish list.
Check out Palin's Washington Post op/ed on climategate:

Umm I seem to remember Obama's books doing relatively well, and I thought conservobots loved to tweak him for being too well loved. Does this mean when Sarah tries to become "The One" your side will welcome her with open arms?

Yes, Palin IS ONE OF YOU, you betcha!
Yet in her desperate attempt to make some news, she contradicted both her action as governor and her statements during the 2008 campaign. For instance:
Sarah Palin yesterday:
I just don't think we can primarily blame man's activities for the earth's cyclical weather changes.
Sarah Palin in 2008:
There are man's activities that can be contributed to the issues that we're dealing with now, these impacts.
One of theses days, the news media will catch on to Palin's tricks and stop covering her factless outbursts as "news."
