Politico claims conservatives are now targeting Max Baucus for appearing to be drunk on the Senate floor. Video also here via Instapundit.
Look at the video, Politico. It's via Think Progress. And I sent it out discreetly to three top right-side bloggers on the 26th it was so obvious. I didn't touch it, then, neither did they. It's Progressive payback for health care you dopes. I thought you knew Washington, DC?
Get a clue. This hit didn't start with the Right. It came from the far Left, most likely for his role in the health care debate. It was inevitable it would get picked up by the Right. But we didn't generate the video, obviously. Doh!

The paid apologists on the Left are already coming to Baucus' defense with the usual spin, but if you don't agree that he was drunk on the Senate floor, compare that clip to one where he is really sober

Most people who show up to work suspected of being drunk are ususally suspended and ordered to take a drug test.

"Politico claims conservatives are now targeting Max Baucus for appearing to be drunk on the Senate floor."
Conservatives didn't need to target Max Baucus: he did a fine job of targeting himself.

After watching the clip I now understand why it seems that Congressional leadership is drunk most of the time! Attitude reflects leadership! If you don't beleive me, just look at the current polling data!

Did he get the booze from McCain?
How exactly is the replay of a public drunken speech made on the floor of the US Senate "targeting?"
Look Democrats ... if you show up drunk for work, it's going to end up on YouTube. It's nothing personal.

Did they have much care about leftie panty-wearing douches going after Larry Craig?
Of course not, must protect the hive at all costs.

These days, they only way to show up on the floor of either chamber is fully pickled.

And some one-third of the public wants to let these medicated drunkards run 300 million people's healthcare.
Yeah, that'll work!
Central planning uber alles!

Notice the LIBTARDS don't have a problem with a DRUNKEN SLOBBERIG FOOL, but they do have a problem with the video being shown to the people.
HELLLLLLOOOOO MORONS, he was on the floor of FOOKING UNITED STATES SENATE.
He knew the cameras were rolling. That's the point.

30 years as a cop tells me, he was drunk.

Did Politico alter their post? They don't single out conservatives at all. They cite Drudge and Foley's Facebook page but never mention the slant of those sources or the word "conservative."

Posted by: VKI | Monday, December 28, 2009 at 04:04 PM
Hey, somebody has to pick up the Kennedy torch and run with it.

Hah! No, I did not read the headline. Why? Was I supposed to read the headline?
