Lie, after lie, after lie. Obama sees the Euro-socialist model as state of art governance. But with China, India and other real players coming on line, it's Obama's policies that are going to allow them to run rings around us.
He will destroy everything good about this country if he isn't stopped. He'll run it into the cesspool right along with socialist Europe. Obama has to be the most disgraceful excuse for an American leader we've ever had. And he's in office at a time when we absolutely can not afford it.
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama on Wednesday expressed frustration with the way the Senate does business, saying the use of delaying tactics there harms the nation's ability to "deal with big problems in a very competitive world."
"Other countries are going to start running circles around us," Obama said in a White House interview with PBS. "We're going to have to return to some sense that governance is more important than politics inside the Senate."
Behold state-run media. I wouldn't be surprised to see him try to destroy private media if he gets two terms. Next we'll be hearing how the Brits do so much more for less in that regard. It's all about serving the people pawns, now. "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need." And he has just the right number of socialists in Congress to get away with it. The health care bill proves that they no longer care what the people think, or want.
Obama's interviews were with PBS' "The NewsHour with Jim Leher" and NPR's "All Things Considered."

If he had spent more time in the Senate, he might have learned a few things. Like how the Senate works. Or what makes America great. Instead he voted "present" and started running for the next higher office as soon as he took his Senatorial oath of office.

This is insidious Marxist methods played out to perfection. Create the breakdown by subverting the system, then blame the system for being unable to deal with the breakdown. This is how to undermine and ultimately demolish the difficult representative system our forefathers labored to achieve and which depends on a good-faith forbearance for our imperfections. In other words, for freedom, this is evil at work.

Iran has been running rings around him since January 20th. Is he just beginning to notice?

I agree 100% with your assertion Riehl. But there's precious little we can do. Elections have consequences. We lost last November and we lost today (although it's not a 100% for sure loss on Obamacare, it may still fall apart but just not likely).
Obama is a far-left, social worker (read: socialist), whose greatest ambition in life is to re-distribute wealth.
The USA has moved from an individual-based, "pursuit of happiness" to collectism. Not just now with Dear Leader, been going on for decades, only coming to fruition with Comrade Chairman Obama.

"...this is evil at work."
That statement is so true, and I feel more like I am in the middle of the French Revolution, with me as a Gerondist fighting the Mountain and Jacobinism. While I say let's do everything within the system, such as voting in the 2010 elections, the new Jacobins are busily taking over the system. Targeting Secretaries of State, using the state-run media, violating election laws, and a myriad of other examples of corruption to name just a few.
The Gerondists lost control of the French Revolution by believing the Jacobins were bound by the law, and would not use violence and terror to achieve their ends. My friends, if we are not prepared to defend ourselves and our friends, I see us having the same outcome. Prepare for the worst, hope for the best, but be ready to do your part to save our nation from socialism. The majority don't want it, but they don't know what to do. Neither do I, but I am ready to know. Enjoy the holidays, but prepare for action.

Obama's no different from that insufferable flat-earther Tom Friedman who last summer was marveling over the superior efficiencies of China's command economy version of capitalism over our democracy-hampered version. If Marx were alive today, he too would win a Nobel Prize.

I hate to say it but I'm afraid it may be too late. Socialism/statism/collectivsm permeats everything in our society these days.
We are no longer a country that is proud, strong and independent. Years and years of conditioning have beat that out of most Americans. Lawyer/politicians run almost everything now.
Central planning, command and control by a Politburo in Wash DC. How pathetic we've become.

A journalist who wasn't either a suckup or scared would have asked, "Which countries?"

The best thing President O'Dumbo could do for the country would be to assinate Slow Joe and go to prison. It's only a matter of time until he ends up there anyway so that would be the only good deed he's done in his entire life. He has slandered every ally and most of the enemies of the U.S. and one of them will take him out, I hope. Terrorists need to quit killing people who have not harmed them and go after those who have, which would be the entire democrat party.

Sorry, templar lightweight, but you're actually just a petty, ignorant, resentful crybaby still whining after more than a year because your side lost the election. Wallowing in grandiose fantasies doesn't make you heroic, it just proves that you have nothing serious to say.
