Obama = Epic FAIL.

What a narcissist!

To get a feel for the real agenda, one only need look at the supplicants lining up with their begging bowls as word has spread that the government will be giving out free money.

A sickening example is Mercy Corps. This is a group that I have felt does a good job of responding to catastrophes and putting people on the ground. Today, I was invited via an email to follow the leader as he tweets from Copenhagen and pushes for climate dough. http://www.mercycorps.org/

So, my donations are going to some high priced suit to hang out in Copenhagen and lobby for loot from the "rich" taxpayers and he can get back to doing good. I am funding a more worthy recipient of my hard earned money.

Didn't he try this with the Olympic games?

He failed in his first 100 days when he ran up more debt than we can ever repay.

Obama has never thought through the consequences of any position he has ever taken. Even after spending months deciding what to do in Afghanistan he still didn't understand that you can't commit troops without committing to victory. He didn't understand that closing Gitmo would be hard because there was no where else to put the terrorists. He didn't understand that bringing KSM to America for trial in civilian courts would be a non-starter given that we are at war and rules of evidence gathering do not apply. Holder seemed to have never considered such things as whether we would have to read combatants their rights, or whether our allies would not want their intelligence efforts revealed in open court --- just to name a couple of obvious consequences of his policies that only a fool would overlook.

Obama is simply intellectually incapable of understanding even the simplest of things.

Why is no one saying what is so manifestly obvious? He is a dullard.

Oh gee .. gives him an additional week to see what kind of impact Climategate will have. Not really a bad move on his part.

"Didn't he try this..."
There's a mean spirited joke going around. Don't help spread it!

What's the difference between Pres Obama and Hitler?
Hitler got the Olympics.

Is he bringing Oprah with him again?

This is a little different than the Olympics. There, he wanted something from them.

Here, they want something from him (well actually from us). The $10B is a paltry amount, we'd be lucky to get by with that.

Remember the global poverty initiative...isn't it 0.8% of GDP should go to the developing world (well, at least their political class)

you're a racist.

Tragically failed presidency in recent history? That's rich. I knew you guys had pushed Bush II down the memory hole but I'm still a little awed at the doublethink.

Smile when you say that Gonzo.
'Cuz otherwise folks might take offense.

Now to my comment:
Obama has proven himself to be a disaster on every front.
I can't think of a single thing he has done right.
Granted a lot of the worst stuff is coming from the Reid-Pelosi socialist twins in Congress, but he done nothing ti disencourage them.

It is no wonder that many Americans are looking forward to 2010 and again to 2014.

oo oo I got one!

He didn't accidentally invade a country!

Uh guys, you do realize that a) there are dozens of world leaders attending this summit, b) virtually all of them are attending in the 17-18th timeframe, and that c) it therefore will indeed be much more productive for Obama to go then. I get that you don't want anything to happen, but it helps to actually know some of these details before making ridiculous assertions about Obama trying to glory hog.

Oh, and thanks for letting me comment!

In other news, conservatives have hilariously discovered the joys of political correctness!

"You can't call me a racist, it hurts my poor little feelings"

Not our problem, racists.

I think we would have been better off with Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton as President if we had to have a black President to prove something. At least they have birth certificates proving they are American Citizens and neither are Saul Alinsky's acolyte's or pals with bomb throwers. You know, 50 billion here, a 800 billion there, one of these days its going to add up and bite us in the axs.

Diversity and Affirmative Action. America chose a President because of the color of his skin.

Nobody has pushed Bush 2 anywhere. In fact, as time goes by, more and more people will be wishing he was back. It was nice to have adults in charge, not this empty suit and his cadre of college profs with no real world experience. Obama's biggest accomplishment thus far, with all the power of congress behind him, is a stimulus that will put any real recovery outside our reach.

So yes, a failure thus far. So bad that even after the 1.2 trillion dollar robbery he engineered we need a "jobs summit" with union and environmentalists, along with another 300 billion dollars stolen from Americans.

Failure.

Failure.

Failure.

As of tomorrow, we have no nuclear arms disarmament pact with Russia. Our 18-year-old START treaty dies tonight thanks to the dithering Talker-In-Chief. It is especially frustrating since he CHOSE "total end of nuclear weapons in the world" as the subject of his historic UN moment -- even as he averted his eyes from Iran's nuclear treachery and was not closing the deal on keeping this long-established framework in place.

I mention it here for two reasons: one, it is quite a hideous historic moment that should not be lost by trying to follow the bouncing ball of Obama's attention span. Two, as troubling as this is, it bodes well for us in Copenhagen: go ahead, Mr. President, give your high-minded, lofty talk. And then, please, come home as empty-handed and incapable of true accomplishment as you have done in this failure with Russia.

By delaying, if it all starts to blow up, he can find an excuse not to go. I suspect many of the other heads of state have this in mind as well; especially the European ones.

Obama will not seek re-election. He has made his millions and made his connections and is just looking to establish the leftist policies he was paid to do, and then step aside. He doesnt care about America as we know it, he is the typical rich leftist who have their millions and are outside the regulations and control we have to "suffer" under. His kids even go to private school, they have the best private insurance and they are rich. He could care less about being a second term President.

huhn, he didnt need any accomplishments to get elected the first time, wtf makes you think he needs any accomplishments to get elected the second time?

And what experience of the past ten months would lead even Obama to think that anyone at Copenhagen would care what he does, says, or thinks (using the last word loosely indeed)?

I was a bit to young to experience the full "enjoyment" of the Carter years, but Obama provides a pretty good reprise of that. Thankfully, we only had to deal with one term the first time around. Will we be that lucky again? Depends more on the GOP candidate in 2012 -- we don't need another RINO, nor another Bob Dole. A strong third party candidate that leans right will practically guarantee a full 8 years of the bizarre alternate universe known as Democratic party ideology. Clinton was able to win two terms without ever carrying more than 49% of the popular vote; in one election, only 43%. As for the climate change conference, pseudo-science makes good political/religious doctrine. The "science is settled" and there is no dissent tolerated. Right. That isn't science, it is religion from the middle ages...or Marxism.

China and India are going to make this an absolute mess, so this delay is meant to be enough to let him jump out completely if it all blows up.
I predict he never goes.

...and history is rife with myriad very intelligent, very well meaning people...who were dead wrong. Climate change is a combination of macro and micro factors -- long term cyclical temperature variations that have existed for millions of years, coupled with Man's impact on the environment. Political zealots tend gravitate toward extreme scenarios in order to advance their plans. This is important to bear in mind when considering the true nature and ramifications of climate change.

Don't mock. It's not polite.

The President may still be able to sway the vote of Denmark's Olympic Committee.

Do they speak Austrian there too,
Do they know that he is the ONE they have been waiting for?

Word on the street says Obama will make his entrance to this song:

Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Friendly old girl of a town
'Neath her tavern light
On this merry night
Let us clink and drink one down
To wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Salty old queen of the sea
Once I sailed away
But I'm home today
Singing Copenhagen, wonderful, wonderful
Copenhagen for me
I sailed up the Skagerrak
And sailed down the Kattegat
Through the harbor and up to the quay
And there she stands waiting for me
With a welcome so warm and so gay
Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Friendly old girl of a town
'Neath her tavern light
On this merry night
Let us clink and drink one down
To wonderful, wonderful Copenhagen
Salty old queen of the sea
Once I sailed away
But I'm home today
Singing Copenhagen, wonderful, wonderful
Copenhagen for me

I think Obama's delay is more about the effects of the ClimateGate expose and the general funk the conference will be in. This still hasn't hit the network news and no one knows what new revelations will be coming out. In his typical dithering way, he will test the wind and wait until the last minute to go or cancel if the conference turns in to a disaster.

He initially wasn't going to attend and was probably persuaded to in order to bolster the sagging spirits of the attendees. Now he knows the momentum is going against the warmists and he wants to buy time. he is zigging instead of zagging. He has no moral compass. He wants the expose to die down, but it won't.

My money is on his non-attendance.

Truth will out. Obama will pass. In two weeks Copenhagen will be in shambles due to the climategate bomb.

So far, everything is going according to my predictions from Nov.2, 2008.
http://hyphenatedamericans.blogspot.com/2008/11/i-can-live-with-obama_02.html
It makes me feel good that I decided Obama was better for America than McCain. For example, who has any doubts that if McCain were the president, he would have gone to Copenhagen and agreed to all the anti-Global warming measures proposed by the European liberals? And would it be easier for sane people in Congress to vote against those measures if McCain was pushing them?

hey, GWB was a fine President. History will treat him well, that is, If the USa manages to survive this Marxist traitor and thief.

I wish Obama the Olympian level of success he enjoyed at his last trip to Copenhagen.

Now these are the crazy friends I'm use to seeing Dan play with.

"He didn't accidentally invade a country!"

He's working very hard on intentionally destroying one though.

"Prime Minister Rudd"

Is he the lame duck from Downunder?

Gore negotiated Koyoto, didn't he? The Senate voted 99 - 0 not to ratify it.

Won't it be fun to see his environment Czarina, the social scientist, grilled in front of CSPAN? May be we should help the Senators ask questions. They don't have time to read the emails. They may not even know Climategate. Anyway, we, as good citizens, should help them formulate questions to ask the Czarina.

I'm thinking he expects more Climategate stuff to surface ... this gives him almost two weeks to cancel ... he is voting present with his finger in the wind to see how strong Climategate gets ... fing cowardly con man ...

He has no choice but to go to Copenhagen..
After all "this is the moment the ocean levels stop rising"...

If there's one thing that I simply can't stand about the whole Obama meme, it's that he's supposed to be so freaking smart. He simply never seems to say anything of substance, he never seems to wrap his mind around any issue.

If he's so smart, then why haven't they released his grades from college? If he's so smart, then why doesn't he know what going on inside of the various health care bills?

People will say, "well as compared to Bush..." Ok fine, Bush mangled the English language, but you knew that he knew what he meant to say, and the message was clear. Obama never really seems to understand the topic at hand, and he drones on until the listener is drawn into a lull.

How is that an indicator of smartness? People projected smart onto him all of his life, and that's about it.

Mr. Maloney said he couldn't think of a thing Obama has done right. Well, I'm here to say he throws a hell of a party and a lot of them. His parties are so good some people feel compelled to crash them. Have a great time on us, Mr. Pres.

"Obama is going to be looking like an incompetent neophyte on a global scale..."

I think most of the Word's leaders already checked the box "Jimmy Carter" when it comes to Obama.

As for your prediction that he will fail in Hopenchangen, DR, I can only pray that you're right. There are billions, if not trillions, of dollars riding on the success of this bold-faced scam, and plenty of well-placed con men salivating at the prospect. We the people can only forge ahead in the uncertain belief that we can defeat these bastards before they do us any more damage than they've already done!
