Dodd's Truth To Power Moment

I hope you weren't expecting any truth from Dodd in this exchange. The truth was directed at him, instead.

Sen. Chris Dodd (D) returned home to Connecticut this afternoon following a historic vote this morning in the Senate that will reform health care.

Dodd is facing a tough re-election bid and at least one man at Bradley International Airport let him know just how tough it will be.

“You’re not gonna get re-elected,” the man said.

“Nice. Merry Christmas,” Dodd responded.

In a piece on the Right's rising karma, The Hill reminds us that Dodd recently scolded newer members of Congress for appearing to not be as polite as some old hands like him. Less polity and more ethics than Dodd has ever displayed sound fine to me.

Dodd seems to be doing a lot of scolding for someone so obviously corrupt, while fancying himself above reproach. He's also kidding himself that the people will warm up to health care reform. I doubt it. But there's more chance of that than of people warming up to Dodd, again. He's feeling the heat, alright. But it isn't that, nor is it global warming, Chris. But do keep your coat on, you'll likely be moving, soon. Is the mansion in Ireland vacant? Hate to see you with nowhere to go after all these years.

One would think Dodd would be voted out however Connecticut teachers are too corrupt to let go of their goodies; that, and Connecticut is filled with wealthy snobs from both parties who cannot stand ordinary Americans.

Teachers aside, the worst Collectivists are the billionaire Collectivists-regardless of political affiliation- because they are more concerned with maintaining their precious membership into the snob's VIP social club than they are about Liberty or even the lives of ordinary Americans.

At a recent Pat Toomey fundraiser here in NYC, I met one of these wealthy snobs-an ambassador-who said to Toomey that he should not support the war because the war is the reason why she and her 'Republican' friends voted for Obama. These are the same snobs who want amnesty because they want cheap labor so that their pasty, pimply-faced sons and daughters won't get their precious hands dirty doing dirty work like housecleaning and yard work...the pasty sons and daughters like John McCain's daughter.

The CT Republicans are really Democrats... I live in CT , too. We're working on dumping Dodd. If the corruption from ACORN isn't too rampant, we should successfully rid ourselves of this bloated and utterly corrupt POS.
