With news that Tim Bridgewater was in DC meeting with some high-profile groups in looking to challenge Utah Republican Bob Bennett for his Senate seat, some potentially troubling revelations are also coming to light. If they hold up as they appear to, Bridgewater may have been in violation of FEC regulations for months. And it at least looks as though he's tried to flush it all down the memory hole.
This has to be one of the more comprehensive bits of political forensic blogging I've seen. However, bloggers would be well advised to learn to cut to the chase and deliver the goods at a quick pace. Back a few years, Mickey Kaus often accused me of burying my ledes. Sometimes it ticked me off, but he was right. I learned from his observations. fwiw
