I'm debating whether or not to read this. I think it may make me too angry.

People, these guys were released under Bush not Obama.

Obviously, G3f. And your point is?

Here is my post on my website. A liberal from the U.S. did a lengthy and decent job of describing what happened on the plane and how it affected him. I commented on the fact that he has not quite reached that moment of clarity that comes with almost being killed.

As for the release of prisoners from Gitmo under Bush, remember NOTHING happens in a vacuum, or as I like to say "Everything in life is connected." Bush was under tremendous political pressure to release those people and close Gitmo. That pressure was from the left, including BO. Had he had his way, those men would have rotted there until the "war" ended. He understood the threat. The people they did release they thought were the least threatening. Obviously, there is no such thing. It is kind of having to decide whether to release a two time rapist or a five time rapist.

Don't get all "Bush did it" on us over this. You cannot defend Obama's crew. Janet claims the policies in place that failed were Bush's, after claiming they worked and somebody grabbed her and had a talk with her. However, I say if she spent half the time reviewing the policies as she did making up lists of potential domestic terrorists including tea party goers and military veterans (that still smarts), she would be in good shape.

No, this one BO owns. That's how it works. You want to be President, you get the job, you get the accountability. The end.

I hate Obama. I don't want to defend him.

But we have to be honest and say this started under Bush.

Bush was a very bad president. Yeah, Obama is worse but still Bush was a very bad President.

I loved how Michelle Malkin put it on Beck tonight. She didn't feel obligated to defend Bush's failures.

We must first admit to the public that Bush was a big mistake before we can ever hope to move forwards in the long process of regaining trust.
