Andy Sullivan's latest Fluffer, Conor with one N Friedersdorf, sure did pick an interesting time to hide. One would think such a learned boy so interested in his reputation would have apologized by now for manufacturing a quote he trolled to Andy to arouse him. Andy ejaculated the false quote all over his blog. Conor never did show up in comments to splain himself and apologize, as is usually the case.
What good would it possibly do to tell the Japanese, “Yes, I think it was right to incinerate your cities”?
Maybe Conor Fluff-a-dork doesn't actually know what quotation marks are for? Or, maybe he's already gotten so old out here, he's still struggling to get up off of his knees.
What a boy, our young Conor with one N. Yes, indeed.

Conor who?

Is this Andy a gay man?

Ok, Dan - I get that you have hard time with the whole Conor thing (I think we all get that) -
But to clarify...are you seriously suggesting that his post suggested this was an actual quote??
Really?
Of course not...right?
And man...that 'Fluffer' joke...Ha Ha. Cause Andy is gay...right...so CF is his fluffer...which is kinda this gay thing. Get it?
Wow...your wit never fails to shine to it's full potential.
How about...um..."Hey, maybe Andy and Conor should stick to talking about Hiro-She-ma."
Get it? You know..'she', 'gay'. Cause Andy is gay and all.
No?

Enough homoeroticism is this post for all wingnuts to enjoy!

Boy, Friedersdorf sure did get under Dan's skin. I think it could be a case of PFSD: Post Friedersdorf Stress Disorder. Yeah, it's a common affliction among intellectually-challenged wing nut bloggers. Its symptoms may include: Feeling that one can never relax and must be on guard all the time to protect one's cherished delusions, trouble sleeping, feeling irritable, overreacting when startled, angry outbursts, trouble concentrating, lame attempts at homophobic "humor," and pathetically transparent attempts to hide one's insecurity behind macho posturing. Yep: Riehl has all the symptoms.

Yeah Conor is off the mark on this one. I don't think there was a way for Obama to really answer that question in any way that wouldn't have pissed off someone - he should have just said something along the lines of history is history and I want to look forward to a nuclear free world or some such bullshit.
But really, Dan, gay jokes? Seriously? You take what could have been a valid criticism and tar it with juvenile witticisms.
Even when I want to agree with you, you make it impossible.

Then you don't know me, Jamie. You see gay jokes and can't read me? I use gay humor, black humor, hispanic humor. One of the first blog groups lauched out here was by me - look up White Trash Wednesdays. It ended up with a good number of blogs enlisted for back in the day. And all we did was make fun of white people.
Just as when I was a liberal in college, I loathe political correctness. I do what I do quite purposefully. Call it whatever you want. I write it because I choose to and I can. And that, in a nutshell, is free speech. Sorry you don't approve of such a lofty ideal. Oh well.

I too loath political correctness, I merely content that an otherwise valid criticism is marred by the inclusion of something that serves no purpose other than to libel your opponent (in print when you say something you know not to be true its libel right?)

Dan I laughed out loud while reading this post!!!! At least you did not call Coner a "teabagger", or used a "deez nutz" joke -all hell would have broke loose from the left;-)

"But really, Dan, gay jokes? Seriously? You take what could have been a valid criticism and tar it with juvenile witticisms."
as x11b1p states: "At least you did not call Coner a "teabagger"."
maybe you missed the multiple msm pitchmen, 'cleverly' using the term to disparage protestors.

Mark L. -
This argument (gawd how I hate it) - that since there exists anecdotal examples of 'liberals' being crass, this excuses Dan and others' habitual skanky illiterism...wow.
You are either capable of being better than that which you (rightly) find offensive and lame, or you're not.
And Dan...really, you prove how much you abhor 'political correctness' by going places that are beyond the pale?
If you think your abject hostility towards particular groups isn't exposed, you are naive.
To Jamie you offer a 'I make fun of everyone' defense. No you don't - but it does say a lot that you feel a need to be defensive when you are called out.

All liberals "loath" political correctness, it's just that some forms of speech, and some actions, and some gatherings, depending on who is there, is just bad, and is not covered by the "liberal" concept of political correctness. The liberal concept is that free speech and associations and protests are just for liberals, if conservatives do these things, it's just wrong. To put it in plain English, rights for me, not for thee.

No, that's silly.
Again, if you really have standards...then adhere to them.
Lowering them to match an opponent just means you never had them to begin with.
Pretty simple.

So tell us, templar lightweight, is it wrong to wish that terrorists kill someone and their family because you disagree with their politics? I mean, since you're so self righteous and everything, I just wondered if you have an opinion about that.
