Obama pardoned the usual Thanksgiving turkey, this one named Courage.
As he has been doing since elected, he once again reached out to the Muslim world with a Haji message on Thanksgiving eve.
He could have helped himself here at home for a change if he had also pardoned three Navy SEALS. Even the Muslim world is known for large numbers of pardons linked to their holidays.
That would have shown him to have courage far more than having his picture taken with a large bird with that name. Unfortunately, since his election, reaching out to large portions of America from the center-Right has not been his strongest suit. Many do not find him to be the least bit courageous. Other than a turkey, I don't see how he's gone the extra measure to convey any real courage at all. I doubt America as currently comprised will ever embrace a less than courageous potus.

I just want to cheer for my troops. This is Thankgiving and about the only thing I can do is give thanks. Fight Hard, Fight Often, and Fight to Win.

What and take away another distraction? A good Magician knows that misdirection is the key. Sadly, these guys will have to go the full route before this is over. Here's hoping you had a great Thanksgiving Navy SEAL's.

Dan - sometimes I can't tell when you are being serious or just goofing around. I take it you are goofing around when you stated "He could have helped himself here at home for a change if he had also pardoned three Navy SEALS." If you are serious then please look for the unicorn that craps skittles i'll send it to you for xmas. When has Obama rooted for the home team since being president let alone before? The last thing on this guy's mind are our troops (flying out to Afghan today to eat with the troops would have been a giant boost and a way of saying at least in spirit i'm with you), let alone three navy seals. I said thanks to God for many things today before eating turkey, and one of them was the brave men and women in our military in harms way. If it wasn't for all of them volunteering to fight, I might have been reacalled.

I did mean it would go over well, x11. I don't disagree with you on your take on Obama, unfortunately for us, the SEALs and America as a whole.

[Joke time!]
What's the diff between a big bag o'shite, and Buraq Hoosane Oh'bomma?

Our Marxist-Moooslim in Chief is a disgrace. Three more years and this anti-American chimp will be gone.

11Bushman....I did get recalled. I amscheduled to deploy soon, and I will fight like my life, your life, my family and friends lives and my country's life depends on it, HMFWIC not withstanding. This guy makes Carter look like a warrior genius.
I was brought up to believe that excellence in all we do is what we do everyday. I am not going to keep the peace, I am going to make peace by eliminating the troublemakers. I have a detachment who will do all they can to eliminate the threat.
Thanks for your 11B time.

One turkey pardoning another turkey, IMnsHO.
The man/child's dithering over A'stan shows what a doofus he really is. The last guy who knew more than his Generals was Adolf Hitler. How'd that work out
Anybody who voted for this empty suit should have his/her head examined! I hope the mindless twit who said that with Obama as President she wouldn't have to worry about putting gas in her car or making her rent payments has run out of gas somewhere very scary.

Godspeed, KP. Kick lots & lots of Taliban ass, and come home victorious.

Obama is giving the Muslims as much opportunity as he can to kill as many American soldiers as they can. His dithering is therefore willful.

Do you remember watching TV a few years ago and seeing President Bush 43 on his unannounced to trip to Iraq--serving turkey dinner to the troops in a mess tent on Thanksgiving? A much classier president.

Good luck, KP. We'll be praying for you and your loved ones here in New Mexico. Keep safe and come home soon. Thank you for your service, those of us who cannot serve are grateful for all of you who do.
And Rocketman, I sure do. I had folks asking me if I thought BO Boy would do the same and had to laugh. He's too busy schmoozing the bad guys to go serve dinner to the military he can't stand. You're right. Bush had more class in his pinky than BO Boy and the gang have in their bloated, America hatin' ears and arses.

KP you will get a prayer each night from me. Words can't express my thanks. You know the drill, and come home safe, thank you for fighting, send as many of those AQ bastards to the afterlife as possible. We are the home of the free because of the brave like you. Thank you again!!! Hey Dan, maybe KP can email you from Afghan to let us know how he's doing?

Never a me too guy (always found it rang hollow). You indeed have all our gratitude KP, and all our prayers. As well your family and friends, in our minds.

I thought Americans celebrated Thanksgiving for the Pilgrims having survived their first year on the new continent. But, they would not have survived without the help of the Native Americans, as well as the widespread population of wild turkeys. But it seems that the help of the Native Americans is not worth celebrating - the Pilgrims repaid them by giving them smallpox infested blankets. Not sure I see what there is to celebrate.
