I like Senator Coburn as much as Pundit & Pundette seem to. On conference calls, he's as impressive as he seems to be genuinely and honestly conservative. He struck me to be a truly good man and always has. That's why I was surprisedto see him endorse Carly Fiorina for a California Senate seat given some of what I've read. If I get a chance, I'd like to ask him about that.
And btw, Devore's folks reached out as some of them are friends and we're setting up a one on one for us next week. So, everyone is going to get equal time here, lest you think I am biased somehow. I'm not. I very much look forward to speaking with him for my readers and intend to give him every courtesy and the complete respect he rightly deserves so as to pass along his thoughts and positions for you as objectively as I can. I see a lot to like in both of them, myself. The important thing is that they answer questions and engage with you, more so than me. I don't get an actual vote in this one. Why We Love Sen. Coburn, Reason #325: Dr. No Threatening to Have Bill Read on Senate Floor
Sen. Tom Coburn, the Oklahoma Republican who developed a close friendship with President Obama when they served together in the Senate, is threatening to have the entire health care bill read on the Senate floor.
Heck, I don't think Carly is my dream candidate but I do believe she is electable in California. Having a candidate that has all the "correct" views but doesn't stand a chance of actually being elected is a waste of everyone's time.
I will support Carly as I see no other candidate that could actually pry Boxer's rear end out of that seat.
