Oh dear God. Can we just call this a mismatch and send everyone home? I'm really not down with seeing women's blood. Claiming that she speaks for all moderate Republicans, Dede Scozzafava wants to take on Sarah Palin and the entire Conservative movement. Clue Dede: think death match and you already had a go. They kicked your butt. Don't make it worse for yourself. History is not on your side.
I imagine Palin will simply ignore it, but who knows? Dede is mad as hell and she isn't going to take it anymore. If I had a parrot it'd be saying, Dede wants a book deal, ... Dede wants a book deal .... bwak!!! bwak!!!
"It was organized," Scozzafava told the Post about the attacks against her by Palin, other prominent conservative figures, and conservative advocacy groups. "There is a lot of us who consider ourselves Republicans, of the Party of Lincoln. If they don't want us with them, we're going to work against them."
In a new interview, the state assemblywoman also lets loose on former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who chose to endorse Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman over Scozzafava, her party's official nominee, in the closely-watched race in New York's 23rd congressional district.
The Hoffman campaign and many of his supporters targeted Scozzafava on some of her more moderate views, particularly on social issues.
The growing conservative support for Hoffman, including the endorsements from Palin and other prominent conservatives, eventually led Scozzafava - who had been hand-picked by local party leaders - to drop out of the race just days before Election Day.
"How can Sarah Palin come out and endorse someone who can't answer some basic questions?" Scozzafava told the Washington Post. "Do these people even know who they are endorsing?"
In the interview, Scozzafava - who ended up backing the race's victor, Democrat Bill Owens - sounded a bitter note about how she was treated by members of her own party.

Ah, so Dede's going all "Levi" on us now! *GHACK*.....is she going for the Playboy spread?

So let me get this straight:
-The woman who couldn't even convince people she was going to remain in the Republican party while running is going to take on the woman who helped propel a no name 3rd party candidate to within a few points of winning in under a month.
-And all of this after Scozzafava dropped out and supported the Democrat, who in turn broke four major campaign promises within the space of an hour.
Yeah, this'll go well for her.

If she wants to be a "moderate", why doesn't she join the "moderates" party? They are the ones with the (D- after their names.

Dede and Owens weree both hand picked because they could both be counted on to vote for the Pelosi care. Dede seems to need attention. She was no doubt promised something if she got elected, and since she failed that, she has been given another assignment before she can collect what ever she was promised.
That is what was meant when Pelosi cackoled that they (the dems) won. They had sooooooooooo much riding on that seat that they could not help Corzine.

I'm with John, above. Look, I don't blame Scuzzi for her anger and PDS, but then again, she can't speak for "moderates" because she patently isn't one. Look, Senator George Rinovich is a "moderate"... and he's sharp enough never to actively campaign for a Democrat. Dede just ain't in that league. She's SO ready for the marmalade.

She is a ignorant flukie women that is a traitor to this country and to the republican party. She is no republican or conservative. We should blame her for the District 23 loss and the health care bill passing as Owens voted for it. He will be gone in 2010. You betcha ! LOL
I do believe we are going to see a Royal House Cleaning in 2010, 2012, and 2014. People are sick of these Scumbags.
Under the Bus with all of them and I hope the bus backs up a few times to boot !

""There is a lot of us who consider ourselves Republicans, of the Party of Lincoln. If they don't want us with them, we're going to work against them.""

""There is a lot of us who consider ourselves Republicans,..." Take a grammar class, Dede. How embarrassing.

This is the same lady who stood at a podium making campaign promises in front of Hoffman's campaign headquarters and was surrounded by sign carrying Hoffman supporters.
That alone would make Sarah reach out to her, pat her on the head, and tell her, "Dede, dear, take two aspirin and call me in a few years."
Has there ever been a politician who admitted what they did and honestly apologized? This broad is a snake, but now it is Sarah's fault?
Give ME the aspirin.

I would love to see someone ask Palin some real questions.
Palin hides behind ghostwriters, FB, Twitter, closed door speeches without media present.
DeDe would kick her bony ass.
