The Fort Hood reporting dealt with below suggests media's well known and frequent efforts to insult, or otherwise demean Christianity in some of its most dedicated forms comes from somewhere other than fear of co-optation. Otherwise they couldn't possibly treat two of the world's largest religions in such disparate ways.
There are not enough words to fully describe the threat to a free democracy when its once free media allows itself to be so intimidated by one religion. One would think that an almost anti-Christian media in news selection would get that concept. Apparently not. It all but proves that politics, not principle, drives their editorial slant.
Better to blame "man-caused disasters" on a US-foreign-policy-induced psychological affliction beyond the victim's perpetrator's control than call a spade a spade.
