It isn't as if they have a choice at this point. Too bad they made the wrong one when they did. Maybe they should save these ads and start running them back in DC after NY - 23 is over. Unless of course, they want to be over, too.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) is encouraging people to "vote conservative" in tomorrow's special election in New York's 23rd congressional district.
An RNC radio ad, running Monday and Tuesday in the district, encourages voters to support "Republican, conservative values" without mentioning Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman by name.
The last minute push for Hoffman marks a shift for the RNC, which had supported endorsed Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava in the race until Saturday, when Scozzafava suspended her flagging campaign.

"The last minute push for Hoffman marks a shift for the RNC, which had supported endorsed Republican candidate Dede Scozzafava in the race until Saturday, when Scozzafava suspended her flagging campaign" ... and subsequently, Dede Scozzafava demonstrated her true-RINO credentials by endorsing the DEMOCRATIC candidate, instead of the Conservative candidate who was starting to garner some lukewarm Republican support.
If the Republican Party wants to mount a comeback in this country, it needs to stop endorsing "Democrat-Lite" politicians and decide what they actually STAND for.
"Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything", as they say...
