I x'd out my name in the title as I don't want to feed it into the Google beast. The Left hurls enough crap themselves.
For context, please do meet Adrienne Ross, a black woman recently hit with an egg at a Palin event and one of Palin's biggest fans out here. I suspect it was a white person that tossed it, not sure. Adrienne also blogs at Conservatives4Palin. She couldn't be a more ardent, active, completely serious supporter of Palin.
Jebers, the Lefty blogs must be losing it, watching their messiah go down in flames as he is these days. I'm being called a racist by lefty Lawyers, Guns and Money blog because I noted the large number of women at a Sarah Palin book signing. Huh? In my defense, I do like Warren Zevon, too. They even emailed the post to me. Maybe their traffic is down?
Noted racist Dan Riehl notes that
You see, I failed to point out the demographics of the surrounding community, which must mean that, along with me, every person at said signing is suddenly a racist, as well. That, and evidently white people aren't allowed to like what, or whom they might like without checking in with the Left and multi-cultural communities first.
The woman up all night to be first in line to meet Sarah Palin was Oriental. Not only does the black community tend to vote monolithically for Democrats, the trend even increased for Obama. I doubt it will change too much. So, I'm not sure how pertinent they are to any analysis of this type.
Having noted that 47.1 percent of the base and the surrounding community are non-white, I will now post a photograph her handlers thought would appeal to her constituents:
Seems we are all raciiiiists now, to the extent we like Sarah Palin at all. What complete nonsense that is. Unfortunately, it's to be expected from today's Left. What a shame.

Uh, Dan - it's five _a's_, not five _i's_. :-)

Dan, it's 'RAAAAACIST'. R.S. McCain has deemed that it requires 5 A's to be the correct appellation.
We're ALL raaaaacists now. Didn't you get the memo?
Little do they realize (but then when to liberals realize anything about reality) that they are diluting the sting. If all are raaaaacist then NO ONE is raaaaacist.
there is no one more conscious of race than a liberal white college grad. (other than the race hustlers).

"R.S. McCain has deemed"
lol You trying to start a blog war? Considering my pal Stacy was a wet behind the ears noobie looking for help when I met him, I'm not subject to what he deems. I'm just a rebel that way, I guess! ; )

yawn - lets beat this horse some more please. it now ranks as a fossil its so old http://tinyurl.com/ybcxyap
i can see the left doubling down on stupid once again on the race issue. can't wait for the reason why obama is slipping is b/c of racism so i guess since his numbers now reflect his own base leaving him they just voted for the white half of him to begin with, once a racist always a racist right-right.
since we are talking about conservatives and racism please check this link at the end its done by an african amercian who has an outline as to just how anti-racial the dem party is with dates, bill numbers and names sans A. Jackson's trail of tears campaign. but hey since native americans don't have slave blood why should libs do anything more for them than pay them lip service. if only pale face had thrown tonto on a plantation they would be granted whatver they want just by simply screaming racism from the tallest teepee (oh snap obama don't even have slave blood so where does that put them on the totem poll). if you're a dem racism doesn't exist in your ranks correct just ask kleagle sen. byrd. i wonder will he be burried in his old clan uniform or the same clothing that rev. wright wears when he's not attacking the jooos for just being joos. http://tinyurl.com/8dd36d

Please use the term "Asian" instead of "Oriental" it's directionist to refer to those to our west as eastern. Got that? Only a noted directionist would use such language.
Happy Thanksgiving.

Upside ... the racist meme will play out. That ballon will lose air, along with a whole lotta votes (though the progenitors may never get tired of choking that cheekin).
Downside ... there may be real fallout. As some across the hyper-electrified divide, may make a run at the fence. Won't be pretty. Divide and conquer ... this is what Hope and Change has brought. What it really is.
I'm not the major alarmist. Haven't put in a stock of canned goods, generator, water ... and (you know what). But more violence from the left is coming. Course, if ya deign to defend yourself? You're a knuckle dragger, who isn't fit (to breathe out your mouth).
Ain' libturd circular logic wonderful?

"Please use the term "Asian" instead of "Oriental""
Yes, it has gotten so one isn't clear on what words are permitted in this sense. I should just use "Chink" or "slant," perhaps, and piss everyone off. ;)

The "demographics of the local community" is irrelevant. I drove from Kentucky to see Palin in Birmingham. And it's just a fact that most of the people there were women. If you break it down even further, demographically, by age, gender and race, the group that seemed to me to be most represented in Birmingham was college-aged white women. I was number 44 in line at 11:30pm to wait for wristbands which were handed out at noon the following day, so I got to see a lot of people arriving. I saw about five people who came to wait in line alone. They came on their own, with no one else........and they were all college-aged, white women. I think that's significant, that the group of people most willing to come to this event alone (obviously a determined lot) were college aged women, don't you?

Mr. Polecat seems to be not terribly clear on the concept of soapbox ownership, hm, Dan?
Confucius say, effim. :-)

Darth, I find it interesting that people will insist you are racist for using "Chink", even for illustration, even on Conserv blogs by their owners, even though you preface it with the caveat that you are quoting your spouse (who is Chinese/Japanese extraction...) as happened to me 3 yrs ago on blog *********.
I was told, in no nonesense terms that unless I used the term "C***k" I could only be a nasty-racist person, and shouldn't even use it in quoting a comment by my American (of Asian ancestry) wife who uses the term to vex those who are racially sensitive -- I dunno, "The Racial-terms Use Rules" are just too complex for this Wap-Filipino-Souix-Kraut-Greek-Beaner-American to understand....
BTW, my

Went to that downtraffic blog, and plugged in Climategate as a search:
"No posts matched your query"
There's seven of 'em over there, seven witty and erudite lefties, with seemingly nothing to say on a hot topic that seems somewhat fitting for that blog's title.
No surprise though, a search there for "Climate Change" yielded a bounty of true-believer snark.
No wonder traffic would be down there. This reminds me of ChiaPet from a righty blog commune, who just a few months ago was scolding in the comments here. Yeah, and not long after he was here begging for linkage.
